Thank you Kevin Orford and John Feaks from the Royal British Legion, and Caroline Karimi-Ghovanlou, Chairwoman of Broadland District Council for your presence and interacting with our residents💬 🇬🇧

Thank you to all the families and members of the communities who joined us this afternoon to make this event even more memorable🙏

In preparation for tomorrow’s Remembrance Sunday, some of our keen crafters have been beavering away making poppies to finish off our homemade wreath.

🐈MEOW and WOW🎄

We had two lovely trips out for some of our residents today. This morning Adele’s Wish Trip to The Cat Lounge & Arts Centre was granted. Lorna and Janet (our two resident artists) came along too and admired the many pieces of work on the walls by local artists😍

Then this afternoon a trip to Taverham Garden Centre with Pat and Jill for coffee and to enjoy all the wonderful Christmas displays🎄

📖 Thursday’s reading club!

We had a lovely cosy morning in our Wensum lounge, reading together. 😍

Todays theme was Fables, and we read some classics like ‘The Boy Who Cried Wolf’ 🐺 and ‘The tortoise 🐢 and the Hare’🐇

We then talked at length about these tales and their morals over a lovely cuppa and some yummy home made cakes 🍰

🎶What an afternoon of commemorations with The Treblemakers choir, honouring us with their perfect singing and so entertaining tunes!🎶

We were then treated by our very own Mark and his chosen fireworks🧨

What a wonderful afternoon spent together with families and friends.

Today, Jackie and Lorna took a little trip to Norwich Foodbank's warehouse to hand over our large hamper of goodies donated by all of you.

We are very grateful to everyone who responded to our harvest festival appeal. Your generosity showed compassion and true community spirit. 💕
