Itā€™s neurodiverse week, and we wanted to bring it to peopleā€™s attention, because for a long time people struggled to understand.

Neurodiverse is an umbrella term that describes the natural differences in brain functioning
Neurotypical - refers to people whose neurological development, thinking, and behaviours that align with what society considers normal.
Neurodivergent - refers to people whose neurological development and functioning differs from what is considered 'typical' or 'neurotypical. For example, a person with autism, ADHD, or Dyslexia is considered neurodivergent.
