Totally normal things we do at Neupulse 👀

Events, human factor studies, more human factor studies, gel pad testing, team days, new faces, a new office and a try before you buy scheme that is taking a lot of honest conversations to get right.

Building something you believe in looks a lot like this 👇

Exciting news - the premiere has arrived in Spain! 🇪🇸

Our Chief Research Officer, Dr Barbara Morera, was honoured to attend the premieres in Madrid and Barcelona. It is a proud moment for us to see John’s story shared outside the UK, with further releases scheduled across Europe and the US for April 2026 🌍

In the film, you will be able to see John’s personal experience with the Neupulse device. While we recognise that everyone’s journey with Tourette Syndrome is different, we are so proud of the role our technology could play in supporting the community. It’s time to keep the conversation going 💙

We know that choosing the right support is a big decision. That’s why our research team has begun piloting our ‘Try Before You Buy’ scheme 💙

We want to make sure everything is perfect before we roll this out fully. We understand that price is a significant consideration, so we are committed to making the trial process as smooth and accessible as possible. This scheme is designed to give you peace of mind and confidence in the device before making a commitment.

Stay tuned for more updates as we refine the process! 👀

Neupulse is growing! As we move closer to our official launch, things are moving fast and to ensure we can support our community, we’ve been expanding our dedicated team of experts 💙

A bigger team means we needed a bigger home, so we’ve officially moved into a larger office space to accommodate our growth. A massive thank you to our incredible team for making this move happen so smoothly. We can’t wait to see what we achieve in this new space! 🏠✨

The video that captured our "eureka" moment! Seeing the real-world impact our device can have on those living with Tourette Syndrome and tic disorders is exactly why we do what we do 💡

We know that every individual is unique, and tics express themselves differently for everyone. While we are incredibly confident in the life-changing potential of Neupulse, we also want to be honest: the device may not work in the same way for every user. Our goal is to provide support that respects those individual differences while remaining dedicated to the best possible outcomes for our community 🌟

At Neupulse, every decision comes with a lot of testing 🧪

We’ve been busy in our Nottingham office putting different gel pads through testing. Why? Because comfort is important and we are looking for the perfect balance: gel pads that are easy to apply, protects your skin during each session, stays secure during a busy day and is simple to dispose of afterwards.

It’s all part of making sure that when your device arrives this Summer, it fits perfectly into your life 💙

Over recent weeks, our community has faced an unprecedented wave of online trolling, misinformation, and targeted mockery. Following the extremely difficult events surrounding the BAFTAs, many people with Tourette’s have been struggling with fear, shame, isolation, and a HUGE need to defend a condition they cannot control.

We had hoped this would be a new week and we could move on but the release of further content online that has been designed to ridicule Tourette’s and reduce our community to a punchline has only deepened that hurt.

I want to be completely clear here THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.

Mocking a disability is never acceptable. It would not be tolerated for any other condition, and it should not be tolerated by people with Tourette’s.

Tourette’s is a complex neurological condition, of which there is no cure. It is not a joke. It is not a personality trait. It is not a source of entertainment. It is a condition that can be extremely debilitating, causing pain isolation and huge amounts of discrimination.

Videos and posts that deliberately misrepresent or sensationalise tics set us back years. A single video can undo the progress our community has spent years building toward greater awareness. I hope those creating these videos understand that they create real consequences for people in our community: fear, isolation, bullying, abuse, and a feeling among many that they must hide away to stay safe.

The trolling and harassment members of our community have endured in the past few days has been horrific. People have been targeted with threats and humiliation simply for having a condition they did not choose. No one should ever be treated that way.

These recent events have been painful for multiple communities, and I am not for one minute dismissing that hurt, but directing anger and ridicule to people with Tourette’s does nothing to heal that pain and does not move us forward.

What we need right now is people to be kind. We need compassion, accurate information and above all, we need education.

I am asking everyone, content creators, viewers, the media, and the wider public, to please consider the impact of what they say and what they share. Behind every tic is a person. A family. A life. A long standing history of being misunderstood.

I was always brought up with the motto that if you have nothing nice to say, then say nothing and to always, always be kind.

To those in the Tourette’s community:
Please know you are not alone. We are here for you. I know times now are causing extreme pain but please don’t feel like you need to hide away. Reach out to us for support.

To the wider public who want to support:

Please share our educational content, help us dispel the myths and help our community get one step closer to acceptance.

We will continue advocating, educating, and standing together as a community.

Much love,
Emma

“A massive game changer” 🤝

For parents, seeing their child navigate the challenges of Tourettes is a daily journey. We love the analogy used here: life is full of stresses and worries that fill up a “bucket.” Neupulse is designed to make that bucket a little bigger, giving individuals more room to breathe, relax and provide a sense of calm when things start to feel like too much.

It’s not just about managing tics, it’s about making everyday life more manageable and comfortable 💙

Last week, the Neupulse team gathered for a particularly important company day. As we move closer to our 2026 launch, staying connected and aligned is everything 💙

We spent the morning diving into exciting company updates and mapping out the work ahead to ensure Neupulse is ready to support both the Tourette’s and the broader tic disorders communities. We were also lucky enough to have a brilliant session with Neil Mullarkey on the power of confident communication. We explored how truly listening and navigating challenges with a collaborative mindset, can help us improve how we work every single day 🤝

To wrap things up, we headed to Luisa's Vegan Chocolates for an incredible "bean to bar" workshop! Hearing Luisa and Martin’s passion for their craft was inspiring and we even got to make our own chocolate bars 🍫

We finished the day with a lovely team dinner. It was the perfect space to unwind, spend some quality time together, and reflect on everything we’d learned!

Huge congratulations to the team behind I Swear on the big wins last night! 🏆

While the awards are so well-deserved, this feels like a win for the entire Tourettes community. Seeing John Davidson’s story told with such heart and honesty on a global stage is exactly the kind of representation we’ve been waiting for.

It’s about more than just a movie, it’s about being seen, being understood and showing the world the real people behind the tics. We are so incredibly proud to have our technology featured in the film and to see this community get the spotlight it deserves.

Well done to everyone involved, you’ve made us all very proud! 💙

One thing we heard again and again across our studies was the need for control and our device was designed with this in mind 💬

You choose when to use the device, how it fits into your routine and when to stop. No two people experience tics in the same way, so flexibility mattered from the start!

Neupulse adapts to you and your needs, not the other way round 💙
