Our gym is all about the people, we have a great atmosphere and it's the gym where everybody knows your name, well, the coaches do at least. Our friendships extend beyond our circuit and our interests and activities do too. We're all about feeling great and this is where you'll find tips, information and humour. Who's on your team? Who is going to SEE your efforts? Who is going to celebrate with you, in style, and by that I mean your style ๐Ÿ˜‰ We're all motivated in different ways, but no matter what we all need a cheerleader of some kind;

Your motivation lies in your success, the more you realise what you achieve, the more motivated you will be each day. Your Curves Coach is a part of your membership from Day 1, we're here to get to know you, to understand what drives you, to know what is an achievement for you and make sure you remember why you started in the first place. ๐Ÿ”ฅ Coaches workout too! We might be here seemingly by default but we still have to make time for our own workouts and put in a big effort on machines. No matter what challenges you might be experiencing, someone here experiences them too. Our Coaches have a wealth of knowledge and experience gained from the fact that they work out too!

๐Ÿ’œ Coach Rosie is a working grandma and runs multiple choirs as well as being involved in all sorts of community and church projects. Her workouts keep her health, fitness and mindset on track and she always says she is investing in her next 10 years.

๐Ÿ’œ Coach Issy is at 6th form studying for her GCSEโ€™s next year. Not only that she has a horse too! She knows how important it is to look after her health so she can do all the things she wants to do and enjoy them.

๐Ÿ’œ Coach Kirsty started with us while she was at college and has stayed throughout her degree too. In that time she's got Stronger and built a crazy encyclopaedia of knowledge about our workout, these machines and our Smartยฎ system. She knows the value of her health and works out with her Mum who is also a member.

๐Ÿ’œ Coach Lisa is also a working grandma, here full time, working split shifts and looking after her family. For her Strong is THE most important thing because she knows it means she gets to live her life how she wants, and she's aiming for it be a long and eventful one!

When you are trying to lose weight and keep it off, it is critical that you do all that you can to burn primarily body fat and preserve muscle mass.

And just a reminder that usually less than 2% of workouts end this way - so yes, it is a huge achievement and if if wasn't you remember it is definitely not the norm despite how it feels ๐Ÿ˜Š
๏ฟฝOur Curves Smartยฎ system sets targets, personal to each of us, and hitting every single one on the same day is something we get very excited about!

๏ฟฝ๏ฟฝ๏ฟฝ*๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’š ALL GREENS ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’š means that these ladies have hit all their personal targets on each machine, working each muscle group evenly and it refers to the data the system shows them at the end of their workouts, showing a green dot on every muscle they have achieved their target on.

It shows they are getting STRONGER ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ’ช and are ready for an increase in their PI (Performance Index) target to keep them challenged.๏ฟฝ๏ฟฝStrength Training and being stronger will make your daily routines a whole lot easier and will reduce your risk of common health problems such as back problems, osteoporosis, joint pain AND reduce your risk of chronic disease such as cancer.
