It's been a busy few weeks for our RCN South Lincolnshire branch, who've visited Pilgrim Hospital in Boston, the branch's biggest employment site, on two separate occasions to celebrate and thank members for their hard work in 2025.

In November, as part of the national Nursing Support Workers Day celebrations, branch vice chair Jenny Creasey was joined by colleagues Lisa Thomas and Amanda Eliff in organising the delivery of goodie bags for nursing support worker members.

And this week, as they do ahead of every Christmas, branch representatives have been delivering festive 'thank you' treats to members across the hospital.

The Royal College of Nursing in the East Midlands has voiced its concerns about Ashgate Hospice’s plans to cut inpatient beds and make more than 50 redundancies, calling for the organisation to pause the process to allow for further talks with the local Integrated Care Board.
