☘️ Happy St. Patrick's Day ☘️
We had a wonderful time celebrating St Patrick’s Day at Willow Brook Care Home! ☘️

Residents and their families enjoyed a fantastic music show by Kevin and Marie, filled with great songs, laughter, and plenty of smiles. It was lovely to see everyone joining in and having such fun together.

We also captured some beautiful photos to remember the day — a truly special celebration for all! 💚

Our regular children’s playgroup visited Willow Brook Care Home last week and once more it brought so much joy to everyone involved! 👶💛

Our Residents truly enjoy these special sessions and always look forward to the little ones coming in. It was a lovely morning filled with smiles, laughter, and precious moments as the babies played and interacted with our Residents.

These intergenerational activities are wonderful for our Residents, helping to lift spirits and create meaningful connections. At the same time, the babies benefit from being in a warm, friendly environment and receiving lots of gentle attention. 😊

We had some very special visitors at Willow Brook Care Home lately… Therapy Dogs! 🐶💛

Our Residents were absolutely delighted to spend time with these gentle and affectionate companions. There were plenty of smiles, cuddles, and happy moments as the dogs made their way around the home, bringing comfort and joy to everyone they met.

Animal visits always create such a warm and uplifting atmosphere, and it was wonderful to see Residents chatting, reminiscing about pets they’ve had over the years, and enjoying the calming presence of our four-legged friends.🐾😊

What an amazing afternoon at Willow Brook Care Home with James the musician! 🎶
Our Residents were singing along, dancing, and enjoying every moment of the music. The room was filled with smiles, laughter, and wonderful energy. 💃🕺

👶🎨 Children’s Playgroup Update 🎨👵

We’re delighted to share that our Children’s Playgroup at Willow Brook Care Home will now take place every other Thursday at 10:30am!
Next session - Thursday 5th of March 👶

These special mornings bring so much joy to our residents as little ones and older generations come together to chat, play, sing, colour, and share smiles. 💛

Intergenerational activities create beautiful moments, spark memories, and build wonderful connections within our community.

We absolutely love seeing friendships blossom between our residents and the children — it truly brightens everyone’s day! 🌈✨

James had a lovely time out and about recently! 🛍️ He headed to the local shops with our wonderful Activity Co-Ordinator for a bit of shopping, picking up a few bits and enjoying the fresh air along the way.

To top it all off, they stopped for a nice coffee and a chat afterwards ☕ It was a great opportunity for James to relax, socialise, and enjoy a change of scenery.😊
