The home provides care and support for adults over the age of 60 to live a full life. The home has an experienced staff team dedicated to provide personal care to the residents respecting their dignity.

We’re so excited to share our festive line-up of events starting 8th December! Residents, families, and friends—there’s something for everyone to enjoy as we count down to Christmas. Take a look at what’s coming up:

📅 8th Dec – Christmas Quiz
Test your festive knowledge! How much do you know about Christmas?

📅 9th Dec – Christmas Carols
Beautiful carols performed by Netherfield School at 2pm.

📅 10th Dec – Christmas Story Plus
Christmas songs from the Burton Joyce Ukulele Group, followed by mince pies and coffee.

📅 11th Dec – Christmas Jumper Day
Wear your brightest, funniest, or cosiest jumper! Prize for the best jumper or T-shirt.

📅 12th Dec – Mince Pie Making
Time to get baking! Residents can enjoy making their own festive mince pies.

📅 15th Dec – Shortbread Stars Biscuit Decorating
A creative (and tasty!) afternoon decorating star-shaped shortbread biscuits.

📅 16th Dec – Christmas Carol Service
A heart-warming service with the Willow Farm School Choir at 2pm.

📅 17th Dec – Making Party Hats
Get crafty and make your own party hats ready for the Christmas Party!

📅 18th Dec – Kevin and Marie Christmas Show
A fun-filled festive performance from Kevin and Marie.

📅 19th Dec – Residents Christmas Party
A big celebration including a pony visit and Secret Santa exchange!

A cosy movie day with classic Christmas favourites.

📅 22nd Dec – Colin Shaws Christmas Show
An entertaining Christmas show by Colin Shaw.

Get creative making festive placemats.

❄️☕✨ Winter Wonderland Coffee Morning at Our Care Home! ✨☕❄️

We had the most magical Winter Wonderland coffee morning on Monday, and our Home was filled with festive cheer from start to finish! Residents gathered together to enjoy the warmth of hot chocolate topped with fluffy marshmallows, all while listening to beautiful Christmas carols that set the perfect holiday mood. 🎶🎄

A huge heartfelt thank you to our amazing students who helped make this event truly special. Their kindness, creativity, and support brought so much joy to our residents and added that extra sparkle to our winter celebration. ❄️💙

Moments like these remind us how wonderful it is to come together, share smiles, and celebrate the season. ❤️

We’re officially decking the halls! Our Residents and Staff have been busy turning Willow Brook Care Home into a festive Winter Wonderland, and the Christmas spirit is already filling the air. From twinkling lights to handmade decorations, everything is coming together beautifully as we prepare for the most magical time of the year.

We’ve also started our Christmas activities—crafts, music, events, memories, and lots of joy. ❤️

👶💖 A Heart warming Visit from Our Little Friends! 💖👶

We were overjoyed to welcome the children from Bits and Bobs Playgroup! Our residents had a wonderful time playing, cuddling, and sharing smiles with the little ones.

Moments like these are so special — watching the joy and laughter flow between our youngest visitors and our residents truly brightens everyone’s day. 🥰

A big thank you to the children, their families, and playgroup staff for bringing so much happiness and energy into our home. We can’t wait for your next visit! 🌟

🎳✨ Carpet Bowls at Willow Brook Care Home – A Much-Loved Weekly Tradition! ✨🎳

Our regular Carpet Bowls sessions are one of the most popular activities in our care home — and we’d love for families to come join the fun!

Residents look forward to these friendly games each week, filled with laughter, light exercise, and plenty of cheerful competition. It’s a wonderful way to spend quality time together and share moments that mean so much.
