A beautiful Chair Yoga session yesterday at Improving Lives 🌿

We focused on the gentle, balancing energy of the Spring Equinox — a time of equal light and dark, yin and yang, reminding us of the importance of harmony within the body and mind, connecting movement with the breath. ☯️✨

During the session we explored a simple acupressure point along the side of the hand, towards the little finger, working along a meridian line connected up into the neck and shoulders, using a simple pen to rub both sides of the hands, static and heat were mentioned and the results were instant — releasing tension, easing pain, and bringing a deep sense of relief. 🙌

It’s always amazing to see how small, mindful movements and touch can create such powerful shifts.
My clients absolutely loved this practice and could really feel the difference straight away. 💛

Mother’s Day is not only about the mothers we see…
it is about the Mother energy that holds us all. ✨️✨️✨️

Today we honour our mothers, our grandmothers, and the long line of women who came before us.

Their strength lives in our bodies,
their love lives in our hearts,
and their wisdom lives deep within our nervous system.
When women gather in circle, when we breathe, share, heal and connect,
we are never doing it alone.
We are held by our ancestors, supported by the Earth,
and guided by something ancient and deeply feminine.

To all mothers in body, in spirit, and in memory —
we honour you today.
Even when they are no longer beside us,
they live on in every step we take
and every healing we allow ourselves to receive.

What a beautiful day it’s been today ✨

Teaching Reiki on International Women’s Day felt really special, ( not planned to be honest but as usual everything aligns 🥰 )

A like-minded ladies gathering, taking their first steps on their Reiki journey, and the energy was just gorgeous… calm, open and full of healing and connection.

Reiki feels so aligned with what today represents.
It reminds us that we don’t need to force anything, we don’t need to push or prove ourselves — we simply allow the energy to flow, trust what we feel, and let healing happen in the way it’s meant to be....its always been there.

There’s something very powerful about women coming together in a space like this, supporting each other, learning, growing, and reconnecting with their intuition.

Feeling very grateful today for the energy, the connection, and the reminder that softness can be strength.
