Wow! The team smashed it yesterday! Straight to the gold finals 🏆 and rowed us into 3rd place 🥉
Thank you to all our supporters for coming to watch and to each and every person that has donated. Well done to the NUH charity for organising such a great event. We have raised over £2000 for the Major Trauma Unit. Yesterday our very own Superhero’s did actually wear the capes 🦸🏻‍♀️🦸🏼‍♂️

Catch our trauma team in action again on tonight’s episode of 24hrs in A&E ⭐️

Don't forget to tune into the second to last* (noo!) episode of 24 Hours in A&E tonight at 9pm over on Channel 4.

Tonight's episode will feature: Major Trauma Nurse, Zoe helps treat Connor, a 21-year-old who is rushed into resus after crashing his motorbike into a telegraph pole whilst on ride with his brother, Shane.

We follow the work of the trauma team as they treat Connor’s leg and lung injuries. Brother Shane reveals the remarkable story of their adoption as children and troubled youth.

69-year-old, Rob has locked-in-syndrome, a rare neurological disorder resulting in near complete paralysis. He is admitted after his breathing tube becomes dislodged, leaving him struggling to breathe. While Nurse, Jay and the team work to re-insert it, Rob’s daughter-in-law, Jenny reveals how a stroke may have resulted in him losing the ability to move but brought the family together.
