Lab Testing is a Key Tool in Nutritional Therapy.

Nearly all of us suffer with some kind of digestive discomfort from time to time, but for some, it's all the time! In the UK 1 in 4 of us experience regular acid reflux, with around 1 in 7 struggling with constipation. If you're one of these people, you don't need to suffer as there are ways to support your digestive system naturally through simple diet and lifestyle changes.

For example most people think that heartburn is caused by too much stomach acid whereas usually the opposite is true and a little apple cider vinegar in water before a meal can work wonders. Adding more fibre and water to the diet can be all that’s needed to correct constipation too, as most of us don’t get the recommended 30g of fibre per day and are dehydrated too.

So sometimes it can be simple tweaks like these that can make a huge difference, however bodies are complicated and if you’re one of the many people suffering with IBS, bloating, chronic constipation or diarrhoea, or even have a diagnosed inflammatory bowel disease, Nutritional Therapy can help. I take a holistic approach, taking a detailed health history and working with you to get to the root cause or causes of your current symptoms, then through diet, lifestyle and supplements, I work with you to make changes that will help, supporting you all the way. Hello, I'd like to introduce myself, I’m Jan, a registered Nutritional Therapist recently relocated to Ruddington, and I’m delighted to be offering my services from Rushcliffe Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic.

With a science-based, personalised approach to nutrition, I support individuals in addressing a range of health concerns. I'm a specialist in gut health, but also work with people on a range of health issues from hormonal imbalances to fatigue, stress, fertility and general wellbeing. My goal is to help you feel your best through achievable, sustainable changes that are tailored to your needs and lifestyle.

I provide one-to-one support using nutritional therapy and health coaching, but am also available for workshops or employee support in the workplace.
