Our lovely residents at St Peter's have always enjoyed the Easter festivities, and this year is no exception. So, to get in the swing of things, they decided to make some Easter bonnets this week. Musical Magic!

St Peter's residents were thrilled to welcome local entertainer and singer, Hannah, to the home this week. She put on a wonderful show, and the interaction between her and our residents was lovely to see. Lots of singing, some dancing, and playing of instruments all made for a fab event! We look forward to welcoming her back soon.

Wonderful entertainment.....

We would like to say a big thank you from everyone at St. Peter's to local entertainers Kevin and Marie. Regular visitors to the home, they returned this week and gave us a wonderful show. Music, singing, and dancing were all enjoyed, and some of our residents loved to join in. They always give a terrific performance, and this time was no exception.

Celebrating a special Day...

Huge congratulations to our lovely resident, Sandra and her husband. Last week, they celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary! With Valentine's Day around the corner, it was the perfect occasion, and they enjoyed a special Chinese meal together in our Bistro. Here's to them celebrating many more!

New Year entertainment...

St Peter's residents were treated to another spectacular show this week from wonderful local entertainers Kevin and Marie. They brought a wonderful range of characters to life and had our residents singing and dancing along to the music. A big thank you to them, and it was great to see everyone enjoying themselves so much.

Christmas at St Peter's....

What a lovely day all our residents and staff had on Christmas Day. It was a day filled with laughter and joy, and made all the more wonderful for seeing so many family and friends visiting the home. There were plenty of Christmas jumpers on display, and there seemed to be a never-ending stream of presents to be opened. Christmas lunch was wonderful - a big thank you to our kitchen team for pulling out all the stops! In fact, a huge thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make the day so special for our residents and their families.

A lovely evening.....

St Peter's residents were given a real treat this week when we had a pantomime performed for us. They were joined by residents from the Ruddington. There was so much laughter and fun had, no one wanted the show to end. 'Oh yes they did!'....'Oh no they didn't'....It's getting more Christmasy by the day!!

Our residents certainly don't. They have thoroughly enjoyed getting slightly messy with the cake mix this week. Some gorgeous cupcakes were the order of the day. They didn't last long once they were out of the oven - they tasted too good!

A lovely trip out...

At St Peter's we always try to make sure that all our residents get the opportunity to go on trips out - sometimes accompanied by staff, and sometimes with family and friends. Here's a couple of great pictures of our lovely resident, Rosamund, who had a lovely trip to Nottcutts garden centre last week with her family. She really enjoyed her trip out, looking at all the decorations and doing some Christmas shopping.
