Meet Tamsin! 👋🏼✨

I wanted to introduce everyone to the lovely Tamsin who will be taking over my Wednesday night Pilates classes from the start of November whilst I’m away having 👶🏼!

Little intro from Tamsin….
“I have worked full time as an NHS physio for 4 years and recently undertaken the APPI instructor course, beginning my journey as a Pilates teacher! I enjoy doing anything active/ being in the outdoors, especially running which I used to race in competitively from a young age! Looking forward to meeting everyone!“

Our last bit of summer🌞

Soo not quite the road trip around France we had planned (unfortunately this pregnancy - mainly my placenta had other plans! 🙃), but still some wholesome family time was had 💛

Let’s talk about tendons!

Whether it’s the Achilles, patella or one of the rotator cuff, tendons can be tricky to manage!

They dislike sudden changes in their loading patterns or routines that come without warning.

These ‘surprises’ can result in pain or sometimes injury. Unfortunately tendons can be quick to annoy but slow and stubborn to recover!

Here’s some basic tips that may help but if problems persist, working with a physio can be helpful to give you a more individualised, specific management plan to follow!
