IMBOLC AWAKENING RETREAT

February 6-9 (3nights) 2026

As the Winter Solstice and the time of maximum darkness approaches we are also reminded that the light will soon begin to return. The days will become a tiny bit longer each day and growth will return.

Imbolc marks the time of the first beginnings of Spring, the beginning of this Awakening. We will be gathering in the woods to celebrate this beautiful time of year when we begin to turn our attention to the beginnings of our own growth as we journey into the active time of the year once more.

Our time together is about connection- to ourselves, to each other and to the Grest Mother Earth. Activities for the weekend include Imbolc Red Tent, fireside Song and sharing Circles, Yoga Nidra and much more. Come and join our Circle of Belonging!

NEW YOGA NIDRA BLOCK
SOLSTICE TO EQUINOX 2026

Here are the dates for our next block of Yoga Nidra sessions- as we are following the Wheel of the Year Equinox/Solstice dates the number of sessions in each block may vary. The next block has 6 sessions rather than the 8 of this current block.

The cost for the block is £120 (£20 per session). Please let me know if you’d like to book your space in the Yoga Hut. One off sessions are £25 if there is space available so it’s definitely better value to book the block if you can.

Fortnightly in- person co- created sessions on Thursdays 6-7pm.

And for anyone who’s interested and just wants to try out this beautiful practice, recordings of our co-created sessions are now available to buy to use as many times as you’d like. Each one is different and our library will build. Here’s what is available so far…

YOGA NIDRA for patience, serenity, trust, softness, peace, safety and flow.

YOGA NIDRA for healing, calm, serenity, connection, rejuvenation, love, authenticity and stillness.

YOGA NIDRA for acceptance, gentleness, hope, restoration, flow, being held, space, peace, compassion, being pain free and a sense of peaceful passing for those at the end of life.

Each recording is £15 and each practice is around 40 minutes duration 💚♥️

AUTUMN EQUINOX SWEAT LODGE

It was a truly beautiful lodge yesterday. The energy was gentle, open, flowing and balanced as Equinox often is. A wonderful Circle of women gathered, as always it was a privilege and an honour to hold the space.

More on Yoga Nidra….

🌸 “The experience of Yoga Nidra can be understood as a journey through different stages of consciousness. During practice of Yoga Nidra we pass through all of the following states, all of which bring their own experiences and benefits.

🌸Before the practice- Beta brain waves, the everyday state, associated with tension or stress.

🌸Closing our eyes- Alpha brain waves or ‘reverie,’ wakeful relaxation.

🌸Deepening into the practice- Cortical theta brain waves, partially meditative, drowsy state.

🌸Deep relaxation- Delta brain waves, the dreamless state of deep sleep. SOMATIC THERAPY

What does ‘somatic’ mean? It means ‘relating to the body.’

When we experience trauma- that is to say unexpressed emotions and feelings- they ‘get stuck’ in the body. That is why so much of unresolved historic trauma is experienced in the present time as bodily reactions.

Therapeutic work which has its foundations in the ‘felt sense,’ can allow unexpressed emotions to be slowly and gently released so that trauma can be healed. The energy which might have been needed for decades to keep painful feelings suppressed is now available for life.
