Carer of the month for August is Agnes. Agnes joined us not so long ago, and has hit the ground running. With an extensive background in care she is the epitamy of care. Nothing is ever too much. Always going above and beyond for clients and their families. Agnes joined us with a level 3 qualification in her pocket so it comes as no surprise that she is now signed on to do her level 5 in management. I have no doubt that she will smash this course and will be a welcome addition to the management team. ❤️

Here at Moreloved Care we love spending time with our clients in this gorgeous weather and treat ourselves to an ice cream or 2!
It is important to remember to make sure that clients are dressed appropriately - to prevent over heating and have enough fluids between care calls - to prevent dehydration. It is also important for our carers to do the same ❤️

Februarys carer of the month is Davina.
Davina has a beautiful soul and is always happy to go the extra mile. Recently we asked carers to add a task and document it clearly at new high care need client. Davina being maticulous in everything she does, photgraphed what she had done (with permission) and sent to management to make sure that what she had completed was correct. Carer of the month for September is this wonderful gentleman Ibrahim. Ibrahim is a very experienced carer who's help was needed when it came to a particular client. This client was very particular in which carer he wanted and all carers we tried just didn't match up to what they wanted. Enter Ibrahim. From day one the client was very impressed with Ibrahim due to his bubbly and outgoing personality and the client has improved in all areas with Ibrahims kindness dedication and empathy towards them. And the carer of the month for June is Agboola. This young man has only been working in care for 3 months and found himself in a situation no carer ever wants to find them self in. However he took it in his stride and put all his first aid training to use. Unfortunalty it wasn't the outcome we wanted but this young man tried his very best to save the mans life. He was professional with the medical team that attended and the police. They couldn't praise him enough. The man's family are also very proud of him as are we here at Moreloved Care. ❤️

At Moreloved Care we cant thank our carers enough especially those who go above and beyond. Meet Lydia the first recipient of our carer of the month award. This young lady didn't hesitate to help out in an emergency situation that occurred with one of our clients even though she wasn't on shift. The family were extremely grateful and couldn't thank her enough. Well done Lydia and thank you ❤️

It's Mental Health Awareness Week and Moreloved Care are proud to have introduced Wellness Wednesdays. An idea created by our Care Co ordinator and Mental Health champion Laura Wright. When asked why she created Wellness Wednesdays this is what she said:
"Having worked in the field and in care homes before settling in an office based role my own mental health along with my Co workers I noticed suffered a lot. I think carers mental health is often overlooked as they always appear happy and care free. We can sometimes forget that carers can use all of their energy and wellbeing helping their clients and/or residents to make sure they are well looked after and happy and smiley. That's why I introduced Wellness Wednesdays to let carers know its OK not to be OK and here at Moreloved our door is always open and we are here to care for our carers and help them in anyway they may need".

I want to take this moment to express my gratitude to everyone who wished me a happy birthday. I've had a wonderful time, and I feel blessed to have such a supportive team this year. A special thanks to Laura and Mr. T for granting me four stress-free days. To all my friends who took the time to celebrate with me during these four days of grace, your efforts made me feel truly special. I dedicate this birthday to everyone at Moreloved Care. Your kindness and heartfelt messages have brought me to tears. It's incredible to have people who appreciate me, and I want you to know that I appreciate you more than you may realise. To my family, I thank God for you every day; you have shaped who I am. To my partner Joe, thank you for being by my side through thick and thin.
