FREE GAME ⚠️

During this pre-season I have had the opportunity to work with a lot of athletes.

One injury that was most common was a hip flexor strain, due to weakness of the hip flexors and core. I have created 3 exercises which you should perform regularly to maintain strength.

Please note that these exercises are for maintenance and should not be performed with a current hip flexor injury as I can not assure that you have been diagnosed correctly and symptoms may worsen.

I would recommend contacting me using the information on the 6th slide to be assessed and treated.

Hip flexors - Iliacus, Psoas, Pectineus, Re**us femoris and Sartorius

Common problem i have seen with many athletes including myself is weakness of hip flexors in outer range and inability to control rotation in load.

In this exercise i like to use a band rather than weights as you get elastic recoil and increased load the further away you go meaning no hiding place ⛔️πŸ’ͺ🏾

Try it, let me know how you get on, make sure you attach your band to a solid base.
