Throwback to a truly lovely afternoon! 🦙💛

We had a very special visit from Dante and Cagan, the adorable alpacas from The Alpaca Pals, at Alexandra Care Home! Residents, staff, and families all enjoyed a wonderfully therapeutic petting session — it was smiles all around and everyone absolutely loved it.

A big thank you to our amazing manager, Sally Burden, who organised a small cake and bake sale alongside the visit. We’re thrilled to share that we raised for our residents' fund, which will go towards more lovely activities like this.

Such a heart-warming day — we can't wait for the next one! 💚🎂🧁

We had the most wonderful time at Alexandra Care Home today, surrounded by our lovely residents, their families, and friends. Our vintage-themed tea party was truly a delight, filled with delicious tea, beautifully baked cakes, and heartwarming company. ☕🍰🎀

A special thank you to the families who contributed their homemade cakes – they were absolutely delicious! Your kindness and generosity made the day even more special. 💕

We are thrilled to welcome the fabulous Jayne Darling to Alexandra Care Home for our Vintage Tea Party on Friday, 21st at 2 PM! ✨🎤

Jayne, a seasoned and glamorous singer, specializes in 1940s and vintage entertainment, bringing nostalgia and charm to every performance. Our residents are in for an absolutely delightful afternoon filled with beautiful music, laughter, and a delicious spread of afternoon tea, complete with sandwiches, snacks, and sweet treats. ☕🥪🍰

Our residents had a wonderful time celebrating Valentine’s Day at Alex! ❤️✨ We were treated to an amazing performance by Ukulele Dave, whose smooth, groovy tunes had everyone tapping along. 🎸🎶 The day was made even more special with fun-filled activities, delicious Valentine’s-themed cupcakes, and all-day refreshments. 🍰☕

🎉✨ A heartfelt look back at the most festive time of 2024! ✨🎄

From carols and live shows to baking, crafts, and games, the holiday season at Alexandra Care Home was truly magical. 🎶🍪🎁 Santa brought joy to everyone – residents, families, friends, and staff alike. ❤️

We’re so grateful to everyone who went above and beyond to make this season so special. A massive thank you to our incredible activities coordinator, kitchen staff, carers, nurses, housekeeping team, and the families and friends who made our home feel even more like home. 🏡💖
