Commissioned by NHS Nottingham and Nottinghamshire CCG
Delivered by ABL & partners Be U Notts is a free, accessible and convenient mental health and emotional wellbeing support service for people between 0-25 years of age and their parent and carers. Our goal is to facilitate equal access to mental health and emotional wellbeing support for children and young people, in a friendly, non-judgmental and supportive environment. Since April 2022, Be U is available for people living in Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire County, except Bassetlaw, where support is delivered by NottAlone. Be U Notts is commissioned by NHS Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Clinical Commissioning Group and delivered by ABL and its local partners, with the support of NottAlone. Please note:

The Be U Notts service DOES NOT replace statutory services, such as CAMHS, and CANNOT deal with CYP presenting complex and/or significant mental health problems or disorders. Be U Notts IS NOT a crisis intervention service. In cases of immediate risk of significant harm, please contact NHS Urgent Mental Health Services.

This Remembrance Day, we pause to reflect on the courage, kindness, and selflessness shown by so many.
We remember those who gave their lives and those who cared for others through conflict and their recovery.
Examples that remind us of the power of every act of compassion and care.

Last week, our team at Be U Swindon spent time in schools delivering workshops for World Mental Health Day.

Students reflected on the importance of mental health and learnt practical ways to look after their wellbeing through the ‘5 Ways to Wellbeing’.

We loved seeing the creativity shine through their bunting designs, now displayed in their schools. A reminder to look after ourselves and each other.

Over the past few days, our practitioners at Be U Swindon have been visiting schools to deliver workshops for World Mental Health Day.

Students explored why the day matters, discussed the importance of looking after their wellbeing, and learned about the ‘5 Ways to Wellbeing’.

They also got creative by decorating bunting with key themes and messages, which will be displayed in their schools.

We’re so pleased with the fantastic engagement and thoughtful conversations from both students and staff.
