Welcoming the longest night in community as mist enveloped the land.

A circle of women inside the circle of the lodge inside the circle of the grove of trees.

Cleansed with sacred smoke, flowing with change as the wheel ceaselessly turns, we honour mother’s night, held in the energy of the grandmothers, the ancestors, the womb of the earth. We wove our medicine songs into the swirling steam within the lodge mirroring the mist waiting at the door.

Shedding the last whispers of what no longer serves us, as we welcome the suns return. We are the darkness, we are the light, we are the void, we are the fullness, we are wild, we are women, we are worthy.
