Its great meeting people and I feel lucky to have such incredible loyal clients, who have been curious about reflexology and who have adopted it as supporting your health and wellbeing. 🙏

❤️ thank you everyone who I've met through my work at Genesiscare\Penny Brohn and trying reflexology and experiencing the many benefits for the first time during a challenging time. Its has been an honour and pleasure.

🙏A generous gift of honey from a client's own bee hives

The male client received 6 reflexology sessions whilst undergoing radiotherapy for cancer.

What could we learn from bees.....

Adaptability and resilience:

Bees are known for their ability to adapt to harsh conditions and bounce back from setbacks. This is a valuable lesson in self-care that can help us learn to adapt to challenging circumstances.

🙏Thank you to this client:
🐝for the gift
👌for trying the unknown & unfamiliar and experiencing the many benefits reflexology can give👏

Thank you Bob the Pen. A wonderful thoughtful gift.

Bob received reflexology from myself whilst undergoing radiotherapy for cancer.

👣Reflexology was given once a week for 6 weeks after the radiotherapy treatment.

✔This is a great example how reflexology can be used along side conventional medicine.

Reflexology is not a treatment or cure for cancer.

We are all individual and a persons cancer journey are unique to them.

We treat the person. Some people may experience stress, anxiety, disturbed sleep, IBS etc

The benefits of reflexology:

👣Aids Sleep
👣Releases tension
👣Improves mood
👣Promotes wellbeing
👣Relaxation

👍Good for Bob for wanting to try & experience reflexology and receive some of the benefits.

Often misconceived as a spa treatment or a foot massage, reflexology with an experienced registered AOR (Association of Reflexologists) is soo much more.

Are you living with fibromyalgia?
Would you like to take part in a case study?

I have recently completed training in Limbic Reflexology to add to my ‘toolbox’.

To complete my training I am required to submit a case study.

📖The case study will look at the effectiveness of the application of limbic reflexology (a specific group of key limbic reflexes) in relation to managing the symptoms of fibromyalgia.

Your Commitment will be required..👣👣

👣You will need to attend 8 reflexology sessions. Once a week continuously.
👣Complete a consultation
👣Complete a set of questions\provide feedback at each session

If this sounds of interest please DM me.

Today is World Day

More so in the spring and summer, I'll have a cuppa and go outside barefoot into the garden and connect with the earth. It's grounding, it reminds me what is important in life and its a moment of calm and stillness.

Sustainable Healthcare Day was yesterday

Stress Awareness – Take Action with Reflexology.

April 6th was Sustainable Healthcare Day. This year, the focus is stress and stress-related illnesses. Stress is one of the great public health challenges of our time. For too many of us, it is a common and regular occurrence.

74% of UK adults say that have felt so stressed at some point over the last year they felt overwhelmed or unable to cope (Source: Mental Health Foundation survey 2018). In addition, it is estimated that 1 in 5 over 16s in the UK are stressed every single day. And a huge 63% of people in the UK are stressed at least weekly – up from just over a third compared to 6 years ago. (Source: www.forthwithlife.co.uk 2024).

Stress will always exist, and affects most of us from time to time. However, with greater awareness, we can help to prevent it, or at least manage it and prevent it from becoming chronic, which can lead to a range of other mental health conditions. It is also linked to physical health conditions like heart disease, problems with our immune system, insomnia and digestive problems.

These conditions are harder to deal with, affect people’s lives, and costs the NHS huge amounts of money.

With greater availability and use of complementary, traditional and natural healthcare therapies such as reflexology can have a positive impact on health and well-being, reduce susceptibility to stress, and facilitate coping with stress.

This would reduce the need for people to access NHS services for stress-related illnesses, thereby saving public funds and increasing capacity.

If you suffer from stress, take this opportunity to take action.

Reflexology may help in addressing stress and helping to prevent chronic stress and stress-related illnesses.

As a member of the Association of Reflexologists - I have met the high standard training requirements, qualified and insured.

Andy was diagnosed with stage four testicular cancer in 2012, when he was only 19 years old.

"The cancer had spread from my right testicle to my lungs and lymph nodes. The treatment plan was to have my right testicle removed and undergo four months of chemotherapy, so I was in and out of hospital for a couple of months."

"Initially, it was a shock if I’m honest with you. You do panic because cancer has a lot of stigma attached to it."

"We need to break down the stigma for men to chat about what we’re going through. I always say to people that my phone is always on. I don’t want anyone else to struggle."

April is Testicular Cancer Awareness Month, and we are sharing Andy's story to help raise awareness of testicular cancer.

Happy Mother’s day to all those hard working mums out there.

For some, Mother’s day can be a poignant day…..

❤For people whose mum’s are no longer with us.
❤For mum’s who have lost someone that once called them mum.
❤For those who hoped and dreamed one day they would become a mum.

And dad's who have become mums.

Hello! and thank you for visiting my page

I hope you have found all the information you required. If you have any further questions, please contact me.

My career since leaving school has been in IT. I had always been open to holistic therapies and I experienced reflexology during a period of ill health, sceptical on my first treatment I was amazed at the benefits it brought me. This then led me to more research into reflexology and I decided to train as a reflexologist.
