We need your help! 🙌 How would you like to earn £50 participating in a study? I have had the privilege of writing the content for this CBT course for low mood which uses AI to deliver it and would be honoured if you would give it a go and tell us what you think!

It’s truly an exciting season for us at InsideOut® — and as we head into one of the most important parts of our journey, we need your support.

We’re proud to be working with SBRI Healthcare, the NHS, and University of Roehampton on a groundbreaking research study tackling low mood.

Mental health challenges like depression affect millions, yet access to support is often limited, costly, and slow. At InsideOut®, we’re working to change that.

We’re inviting people to join an exclusive user testing study, exploring how our AI-powered avatar Remi® can deliver evidence-based therapeutic support for low mood in a self-led way.

✨ By taking part, you’ll receive:
• £50 reward voucher as thanks for your time
• Free access to the InsideOut® platform
• Early experience with cutting-edge mental health tech
• A chance to directly influence innovations that could help countless others
• Huge gratitude from our team 🙏

Reflections: What We See in Others Is Often a Glimpse of Ourselves

Have you ever found yourself deeply moved, irritated, or unexpectedly emotional with someone?

It’s not random—it’s a reflection.

Psychologically, the people around us often act as mirrors. They show us the parts of ourselves we’re proud of, the parts we’ve hidden, and sometimes the parts we’re still healing. How we react to others can be a clue to us about our unmet needs, buried feelings, or dreams we’ve tucked away.

When someone brings up something up in you, whether beautiful or uncomfortable, try pausing and asking: What is this bringing up in me? What might this reflect about my inner world?

This kind of self-inquiry isn’t about blame—it’s about compassion. It’s an invitation to see yourself with more clarity, care, and kindness.

Growth often begins in the soft space between awareness and acceptance.

Another month gone by... how was it for you?

How did you feel in April? And how differently would you like to feel in May?

Who you were in April and who would you like to be in May?

Remember, we are human beings not human doings. So rather than making a plan of tasks and goals for the month ahead and reviewing those completed in April, try to do the planning differently this time. Focus on being and feeling. And then, make a plan to make it happen!

Just be there with them. Support them. Soothe them. But don't try to stop them. Make them feel safe enough to cry their tears away. It's healing 💚 for all of us 🙏

New week, new opportunities. New journeys to take...

So which one will it be this week? The same one? Or perhaps a new exciting one?

Are you ready to explore?

What if you decided that this week you're gonna go for your dreams?

What if you decided this week you're gonna start winning at life?

This little guy is certainly taking his chances and going for whatever lies ahead 😉☀

What if you did the same?

What if you decided that this week was the week you stopped blaming others and took full responsibility for your life?

Make this week the week you stop looking for excuses.

The week you finally show up for your life.

The week you start putting yourself first

How much would your life change?

When was the last time you tried something new?

Or when was the last time you revisited something you used to love and haven't done for ages?

Like riding a bike perhaps 😉

Revisiting old favorite activities revives the memories and creates new feelings of joy in the present moment. Trying something new will create new memories too. And both will surely help you feel more alive and happier.

So use the spring's energy to try something new - or revisit something dear and forgotten 😉
