Some of the most powerful feedback we receive doesn't come through surveys or metrics. It comes from families, in their own words.

A family recently wrote to thank our home care team in Newtown, Powys for the care they provide to their mum. They spoke about compassion, dignity, and the reassurance that comes from knowing someone you love is truly cared for.

For families, this kind of care means everything. For our care professionals, it is simply how they show up every day.

Thank you to our home care teams for the quiet, life-changing difference you make every day in our communities.

Some of the most important work we do never makes the headlines.

Lacey is 10 years old and has a complex life limiting illness. In the run up to Christmas, her whole family just wanted one thing: to get her home from hospital.

Our care team worked day and night to make sure Lacey made it safely back to her mum and dad.

We are experts in home care, supporting urgent hospital discharges with one simple focus: helping families be together when it matters most.

Blocked roads. Deep snow. Icy conditions across parts of the UK.

Over recent days, our care teams have been working through some of the toughest winter conditions we have seen in years, finding ways to keep care going when travel became difficult and dangerous.

Wendy McCall, Managing Director of Homecare, said:
“What our care professionals are doing in these conditions is extraordinary. They are battling horrendous weather, showing up no matter what, and making sure those who rely on us feel safe and supported. I am so proud of our teams. This is what great care looks like in real life.”

Lucy Evans has been named our Care Professional of the Year, chosen from more than 15,000 colleagues across the UK. Find out why, in a workforce full of extraordinary people, she stood out.

This Christmas, our CEO, Gary Fee, shared a message with our nearly 16,000 colleagues across the UK.

A CCH tradition. A pause in the rush of the year to reflect, to recognise, and to celebrate the resilience, compassion and professionalism shown by our teams, and by colleagues across the sector, every single day.

To our team, partners and friends across health and social care, we wish you a very happy and truly restful festive period.

People first. Always. 🎄

This weekend, Victoria Horlock, Branch Manager in Colchester, is celebrating her 40th birthday by stepping out of a plane.

She is taking on a tandem skydive in support of Headway Essex, an acquired brain injury charity. Colleagues right across CCH are backing her all the way, (but definitely from solid ground!)

Across CCH, our people are always stepping up to support charities in their local communities. From fundraisers to challenges like this one, backing causes that matter to the people we care for is simply part of who we are.

The idea came after Vicky visited Headway Essex and met people living with acquired brain injuries. Leading a complex care branch team, she sees the impact of these disabilities every day. Seeing that courage and resilience up close inspired her to turn her 40th birthday into something that could make a real difference.

Vicky said: “Visiting Headway Essex made me more determined than ever to raise as much money as I can. The work they do is truly life-changing.”

CCH are incredibly proud of Vicky for taking on such an amazing, and nerve-wracking, challenge.

This is Chesil Lodge Extra Care Scheme in Wi******er. Delivered by CCH Group, it shows what care at its absolute best really looks like.

Our short-stay flat is doing exactly what it is meant to do. Giving people a safe, supported space to regain stability, rebuild confidence, rediscover independence and reconnect with life in their community.

And the impact is clear.
We have received powerful feedback from the local commissioner, recognising the warmth, structure and consistency our team brings every single day. This is support that genuinely changes lives.

This is what happens when Extra Care is done properly.

Across the UK, CCH Group supports over 100 Extra Care Schemes, standing beside people at moments that truly matter. From short-term stays to long-term homes, our teams create safer futures and stronger communities.

Well done to Marivic Arucan, the Extra Scheme Leader, and the rest of the Chesil Lodge team; your compassion is changing lives!

Yes. Angels. One of the biggest British hits of all time.
And now, for the first time, it has been given to the people who live its meaning every single day: care professionals.

This release is a celebration of everything the care sector gives to this country. The heart. The courage. The sacrifice. The strength it takes to stand beside people through their hardest moments. Today, all of that steps into the spotlight.

And our ambition is huge.
We want to make this single the UK's Christmas Number One. A charity track led by care professionals, organised by Homecare's Got Talent, taking on the biggest moment in the UK music calendar and raising money for The Care Workers' Charity

Help us show the country what care truly sounds like when the nation finally listens.

PS: Did you catch the choir on Good Morning Britain today? Thank you to everyone helping to share the story!

The wait is almost over.

On Friday, the care sector steps onto a national stage in a way it never has before.

A new single, recorded by the finalists of Homecare's Got Talent, is being released across the UK. It is already expected to reach major radio stations, appear on the country’s biggest television shows and take its place in the race for Christmas Number One.

This is a moment of pride for everyone in care.
A moment where the country gets to hear the voices of the people who support it every day.

These singers are care professionals from across the UK. Their talent is real. Their presence is captivating. Their stories stay with you. And now the nation will hear what we have known all along. Care professionals have stars among them.

One of them is our own David McDonald from CCH Mochridhe, who recorded his vocals with the rest of the finalists inside the legendary Abbey Road Studios. In the same room where some of the most iconic music of our time was created, he delivered a performance filled with heart and authenticity. He and his fellow finalists are ready to be heard far beyond the sector.

This release stands for something important.
It shows a sector united.
It gives care a clear and confident voice.
And it uses that voice to support The Care Workers' Charity with every click helping care professionals across the country.

Our ambition is strong. We want this single to rise all the way to Christmas Number One. Not for the accolade, but for what it represents. A moment where the country chooses to celebrate care at the very centre of its festive season.
You can help make that happen.

Pre-save, pre-order, download and share. Invite your friends. Invite your family. Let people hear what care truly sounds like.
