This is how we celebrate special days at our Pullen Day Centre in London.

Our clients are always at the heart of what we do, and we make sure their special moments are marked in ways that feel personal and full of life.

Irene loves music and singing, so on her 80th birthday we welcomed Maciek O’Shea from Opera Holland Park, who spent the afternoon leading a session that evolved into a shared experience of singing, movement and memory-triggering tunes.

Maciek’s work is part of the Music for Dementia initiative, designed for people living with dementia and memory loss, using music as a vehicle for connection and wellbeing. His visit underlined something we believe at CCH Group: no one is forgotten and no one is alone.

Maria Gerardo, Pullen Day Centre Manager, said: “We always want our clients to feel that their special days are genuinely celebrated. Irene loved the visit and was smiling from start to finish. It’s about creating experiences that bring people together and remind them they are valued and part of a community.”

Thank you to Maciek and Opera Holland Park for reminding us that when creative and thoughtful activities are brought into care, the results can be powerful.

Sunderland is a branch that gives everything for the people they support. The team knows their community inside out and their warmth and friendly spirit are clear in every visit.

Leading the way is Nicole, Branch Manager for our Branch Team of the Year in the North East, whose steady leadership has shaped one of the most trusted teams in the region.

We're delighted to announce that in just three years, we’ve halved our carbon footprint, from 6,749 tonnes of CO₂ in 2022 to 3,222 tonnes in 2025. It’s a milestone that reflects the collective effort of our teams across CCH Group.

This progress has been made through tangible actions including:
• Installing LED lighting and sensor systems across sites.
• Introducing smart energy meters and reducing heating waste.
• Cutting business travel through greener fleet choices and greater use of virtual meetings.

These measures are only the beginning. Over the next five years we are on track to cut emissions by 60 per cent against our baseline, with plans to further reduce travel emissions, improve insulation, and transition our fleet to hybrid and electric models.

This progress means more than numbers. It demonstrates that CCH Group is a sustainable, forward-looking care provider that is committed to long-term resilience, community wellbeing and the environment.

As the UK's largest care provider, we have a responsibility not just to the people we support today, but to future generations.

Putting means caring for the world they live in too.

At CCH, Halloween isn’t about tricks or frights, it’s about friendship, laughter and belonging.

Across our offices, branches and Extra Care Schemes, care professionals, care teams and support staff go the extra mile to make sure everyone can join in the fun; from pumpkin carving and autumn treats to fun dress-up.

We are so grateful to our colleagues for the creativity, kindness and hard work they put into bringing joy to the people we support.

Their efforts mean everyone we look after feels part of the whole CCH community.

What should every care provider be measuring?
It's not about ticking boxes...

The real test of great care comes down to three simple metrics.
Get these right and people thrive.
Get them wrong and trust is lost.

At CCH, we measure what matters most.
The result is independence at home, families who feel supported, care teams who feel valued and communities that grow stronger.

When Victoria Horlock, Branch Manager in Colchester, and her colleague Allison Heighington visited Headway Essex, they were deeply moved by the courage and determination of people living with acquired brain injuries.

For Victoria, who leads the Colchester complex care branch, the experience was a personal reminder of why she chose her career. She and her team see first-hand the challenges and resilience of the people they support, and meeting the Headway community left a lasting impression.

That is why she has chosen to mark her 40th birthday in the most extraordinary way; by taking on a tandem skydive to raise funds for Headway Essex, which also celebrates its 40th year.

Victoria says: “Visiting Headway Essex made me more determined than ever to raise as much money as I can. The work they do is life-changing, and I want to give something back to a community that means so much to me and my team.”

We are incredibly proud of Victoria for taking on this challenge and standing alongside a charity that makes such a powerful difference.

We’re so proud to share that our CEO, Gary Fee, has been named the Number 1 leader in UK social care at the Social Care Top 30 Awards!

But in his usual humble style, Gary says this award isn’t about one person. It’s about all of us at CCH Group.

“This recognition belongs to the people who make what we do possible, our dedicated care professionals, as well as our local and national support colleagues behind the lifechanging services we deliver every day. Their dedication to ensuring no one in need of care is forgotten or alone is what drives everything I do.” – Gary Fee, CEO, CCH Group

Congratulations Gary and thank you to everyone across our teams for helping make this possible.

In our Complex Care teams, we see the impact of acquired brain injury every day. Our colleagues work closely with clients and families to provide specialist care that enables people to live as fully and independently as possible.

That is why we are so proud of Victoria Horlock, a Registered Branch Manager at CCH Advantage Healthcare, who is marking her 40th birthday by taking on a tandem skydive to raise funds for Headway Essex , which also turns 40 this year!

Vicky says she is inspired by the resilience of the people she supports, and this challenge is her way of giving something back to the community that means so much to her.

Headway Essex provides a lifeline for individuals and families living with acquired brain injury, and Vicky’s fundraising will help ensure that vital support continues.
