This is Chesil Lodge Extra Care Scheme in Wi******er. Delivered by CCH Group, it shows what care at its absolute best really looks like.

Our short-stay flat is doing exactly what it is meant to do. Giving people a safe, supported space to regain stability, rebuild confidence, rediscover independence and reconnect with life in their community.

And the impact is clear.
We have received powerful feedback from the local commissioner, recognising the warmth, structure and consistency our team brings every single day. This is support that genuinely changes lives.

This is what happens when Extra Care is done properly.

Across the UK, CCH Group supports over 100 Extra Care Schemes, standing beside people at moments that truly matter. From short-term stays to long-term homes, our teams create safer futures and stronger communities.

Well done to Marivic Arucan, the Extra Scheme Leader, and the rest of the Chesil Lodge team; your compassion is changing lives!

Yes. Angels. One of the biggest British hits of all time.
And now, for the first time, it has been given to the people who live its meaning every single day: care professionals.

This release is a celebration of everything the care sector gives to this country. The heart. The courage. The sacrifice. The strength it takes to stand beside people through their hardest moments. Today, all of that steps into the spotlight.

And our ambition is huge.
We want to make this single the UK's Christmas Number One. A charity track led by care professionals, organised by Homecare's Got Talent, taking on the biggest moment in the UK music calendar and raising money for The Care Workers' Charity

Help us show the country what care truly sounds like when the nation finally listens.

PS: Did you catch the choir on Good Morning Britain today? Thank you to everyone helping to share the story!

The wait is almost over.

On Friday, the care sector steps onto a national stage in a way it never has before.

A new single, recorded by the finalists of Homecare's Got Talent, is being released across the UK. It is already expected to reach major radio stations, appear on the country’s biggest television shows and take its place in the race for Christmas Number One.

This is a moment of pride for everyone in care.
A moment where the country gets to hear the voices of the people who support it every day.

These singers are care professionals from across the UK. Their talent is real. Their presence is captivating. Their stories stay with you. And now the nation will hear what we have known all along. Care professionals have stars among them.

One of them is our own David McDonald from CCH Mochridhe, who recorded his vocals with the rest of the finalists inside the legendary Abbey Road Studios. In the same room where some of the most iconic music of our time was created, he delivered a performance filled with heart and authenticity. He and his fellow finalists are ready to be heard far beyond the sector.

This release stands for something important.
It shows a sector united.
It gives care a clear and confident voice.
And it uses that voice to support The Care Workers' Charity with every click helping care professionals across the country.

Our ambition is strong. We want this single to rise all the way to Christmas Number One. Not for the accolade, but for what it represents. A moment where the country chooses to celebrate care at the very centre of its festive season.
You can help make that happen.

Pre-save, pre-order, download and share. Invite your friends. Invite your family. Let people hear what care truly sounds like.

This Friday, the country is going to hear care professionals like never before. Not quietly supporting from the sidelines, but right in the centre of culture where they belong.

Think when Pharrell’s Happy went from a song to a global serotonin rush.
Or when Shape of You landed and suddenly every love song had to level up. Yes, that kind of cultural shift.

So it is time to turn the volume way up.
This is homecare owning its voice.

And right at the heart of it is our own David MacDonald.
You might remember him as one of the incredible finalists from Homecare's Got Talent (A CCH Star).

Sadly, we are under a strict embargo and can't say anything else now. Yes, the suspense is killing us too. But for the detectives out there, you might be able to spot some clues in this video.

Drop your guesses below.
Full reveal is happening on Friday!

This is how we celebrate special days at our Pullen Day Centre in London.

Our clients are always at the heart of what we do, and we make sure their special moments are marked in ways that feel personal and full of life.

Irene loves music and singing, so on her 80th birthday we welcomed Maciek O’Shea from Opera Holland Park, who spent the afternoon leading a session that evolved into a shared experience of singing, movement and memory-triggering tunes.

Maciek’s work is part of the Music for Dementia initiative, designed for people living with dementia and memory loss, using music as a vehicle for connection and wellbeing. His visit underlined something we believe at CCH Group: no one is forgotten and no one is alone.

Maria Gerardo, Pullen Day Centre Manager, said: “We always want our clients to feel that their special days are genuinely celebrated. Irene loved the visit and was smiling from start to finish. It’s about creating experiences that bring people together and remind them they are valued and part of a community.”

Thank you to Maciek and Opera Holland Park for reminding us that when creative and thoughtful activities are brought into care, the results can be powerful.

We're delighted to announce that in just three years, we’ve halved our carbon footprint, from 6,749 tonnes of CO₂ in 2022 to 3,222 tonnes in 2025. It’s a milestone that reflects the collective effort of our teams across CCH Group.

This progress has been made through tangible actions including:
• Installing LED lighting and sensor systems across sites.
• Introducing smart energy meters and reducing heating waste.
• Cutting business travel through greener fleet choices and greater use of virtual meetings.

These measures are only the beginning. Over the next five years we are on track to cut emissions by 60 per cent against our baseline, with plans to further reduce travel emissions, improve insulation, and transition our fleet to hybrid and electric models.

This progress means more than numbers. It demonstrates that CCH Group is a sustainable, forward-looking care provider that is committed to long-term resilience, community wellbeing and the environment.

As the UK's largest care provider, we have a responsibility not just to the people we support today, but to future generations.

Putting means caring for the world they live in too.
