On the last Monday of each month, a group of FHPs and Pods, including me, look after the feet of homeless people presenting themselves at Friary Drop-In on Musters Road in WB.
If you know of anyone in need of support for foot health issues, please get them to contact Anne at the Centre and we will be happy to help them.
Also, if anyone has new or clean used socks, trainers or walking boots then these can be dropped off at the Drop-in Centre and will be much appreciated especially in this wet weather.

My Story

After spending many years as an administrator, I took the opportunity to retrain in Remedial Massage, with the Midland School of Massage in Ruddington, Nottingham in 2015/16. I qualified in May 2016 with a Diploma in Remedial Massage.

I continued to work full time as an administrator, building up my business working part-time evenings and weekends before taking the plunge and leaving my job in July 2017.

At the present time I work Monday and Wednesday afternoons, and Friday mornings at The Open Door Natural Therapy Centre on Gordon Road, West Bridgford. On Tuesdays I work at Gaia on Oakdale Road, Bakersfield, and on Thursday afternoon/evening I work at The Natural Elements on Ratby Road in Groby, Leics.

I am able to provide massage and manipulative therapy to aid healing from muscular soft tissue injuries, aches and pains ranging from plantar fasciitis and sciatica through to fibromyalgia and many conditions and complaints in between :)
