Do you like teaching, working with children, and having lots of fun?

If you've been to Teddy Bear Hospital training, or been on a visit with us, why not take that interest further and join us on committee?

As part of committee you get valuable paediatric experience for your future medical career and the opportunity to develop your leadership and organisation skills, as well as being part of a friendly and enthusiastic team. You will be expected to act as clinic lead at least once a term in addition to carrying out the requirements of your role.

The positions available are:
🐻President
🐻Vice President
🐻General Secretary
🐻School Liaison Officer (2 positions)
🐻Senior Coordinator
🐻Events Coordinator
🐻Activities Coordinator
🐻Treasurer
🐻Training Officer
🐻Publicity Officer

One of our volunteers described their time on committee as ‘extremely fun and rewarding, from helping to organise weekly visits to planning the annual conference, I’ve developed skills I didn’t even know I had!’

Hey everyone !
We’re having our first in person training event of the year which allows you to get started on volunteering with us.
Doing this training event allows you to get to know the stations you’d be covering better as well as how to teach and get along with the different schools we’d be going to !

Even if you did the training event in previous years, it would still be a good refresher for you since we didn’t have many events last year.

And if all of that didn’t convince you, we’ll also have FREE PIZZA 🍕 for you to enjoy

Teddy Bear Hospital is a volunteering group that teaches children aged 4-8 about healthcare, including exercise, healthy eating and going to the doctors, to make doctors and hospitals less scary for them!

Once you're trained you can join us on our trips to local schools and rainbows groups, and training lasts throughout your course, and you can come and help out when you want.
