It does amaze me that there are courses that offer only online training for what are hands on therapies, but sadly they are quite prolific.

Often the pupil starting out, doesn’t realise that the training they have booked on to is of a poor quality and that the so called ‘professional association’ and ‘professional insurance’ they are offered by the online training provider are not worth the cost of the paper they are printed out on.

For clients, this makes it hard to know what level of training their therapist has received and could put them at risk of injury with no recourse should this occur.

Personal and local recommendations are best and always feel free to check the credentials of the professional membership and qualifications.

I am registered with the Federation of Holistic Therapists, who are also my insurers, and I am VTCT Level 3 qualified (the highest level when I qualified) and am accepted by workplace insurance companies. So you know you’re in good hands.

Here’s what the nerves branching from your spinal cord look like! 🤯
Our bodies contain 31 pairs of spinal nerves: 8 cervical, 12 thoracic, 5 lumbar, 5 sacral, and 1 coccygeal. These nerves are essential for transmitting motor, sensory, and autonomic signals between the spinal cord and the rest of the body.
They enable voluntary movements, sensory responses, and regulate vital functions like breathing and digestion. Truly, the human body is an incredible product of evolution! 🤓
