Hypnotherapy offers a grounded, gentle way to navigate those emotional peaks supporting calm, clarity, and self-compassion.

Winter isn’t just cold, it can bring emotional challenges too: low mood, less motivation, overthinking.
Hypnotherapy can help you navigate that weight by retraining your mind to relax, restore, and rebalance.
It’s not about “fixing” you, but helping you cope with more ease.

Hypnotherapy often includes short visualisations that boost feelings of peace and emotional balance. Gratitude is one of the easiest ways to shift your mindset gently — and hypnotherapy makes that shift even stronger.

Today is International Men’s Day, a reminder that men’s mental health truly matters. 💙

So many men carry stress, anxiety, and pressure quietly — often feeling they have to “just get on with it”.

You don’t have to hold everything alone.
Hypnotherapy provides a safe, gentle space to process, release, and rebuild emotional balance.

If you or a man in your life needs support, I’m here.

As the evenings draw in, many of us reach for comfort foods — and that’s perfectly okay. But there are so many other beautiful ways to comfort yourself too.

When you discover what truly soothes you, comfort becomes something nourishing, not just numbing.

As the days grow shorter and cooler, many of us reach for comfort foods – and that’s absolutely fine! But if food has become your main source of comfort, this could be a gentle sign to explore a few new ways to soothe yourself.

Remember – emotional eating is part of being human. But so is discovering new ways to comfort yourself with awareness, warmth and self-compassion. 🌸

I've been feeling rather overwhelmed this week. No reason I particular. I've been feeling like I'm not doing enough for my business pr my own wellbeing. This in turn makes me procrastinate indoors and forget the things that make me feel good. The most important being to get outside and move!

So thanks to Michaela for organising this day out and for leading us.

The day was so uplifting. The idea was to network as we walked, but we talked about life, being women and all sorts.

When I got home I had a quick turnaround and went to for a talk by about her book, "The feminist Art of Walking" hosted by Amelia Daiz

What an apt end to the day.

Today is World Mental Health Day 💚

What if today you simply paused —
and asked yourself:

💭 What’s really weighing on me right now?
💭 If that feeling had a voice, what would it say?
💭 And what would it be like… to feel just a little lighter?

Sometimes the first step isn’t to “fix” anything —
it’s simply to notice, to breathe, and to imagine how it could feel to be okay again.

You deserve that gentle moment of calm 💚

The Live Well Practice

My name is Samantha Culshaw-Robinson and I am the founder of The Live Well Practice, specialising in Stopping Smoking, Weight Management, Rapid Pain Elimination and dealing with Stress & Anxiety. I am an NHS trained Mindfulness coach and I run courses and workshops to help people let go of the past and move into the future.

I began my working life as a lecturer in a college of further education. After 15 years I decided to train to become a Registered Hypnotherapist accredited by the National Council of Hypnotherapy. This was triggered by investigating the application of hypnosis for a family member struggling with anxiety. Now I have over 6 years experience as a Hypnotherapist. I have been on Notts TV and am listed as one of the top 3 Hypnotherapists in Nottingham!

The Live Well Practice is my business, which offers one-to-one Hypnotherapy, Reiki and Mindfulness sessions to help restore balance in body, mind and spirit. I offer tailored healing packages to help people work through difficulties they may be facing.

When I am not working I love to curl up with a good book and immerse myself as the story unfolds. I run three times a week, practice yoga and meditate regularly. These habits help me deal with the ups and downs that are real life. I love spending time with my family and friends too. I am an eternal student; my mind is happiest when learning new things.
