💙 The Dementia and Carers Roadshow returns to Rushcliffe Arena in West Bridgford on Thursday April 23 from 10am to 1pm.
Come along for a variety of valuable support, resources and activities to help improve the lives of carers and people living with dementia.
You can also meet local community groups, health and social care services, and trusted organisations, plus enjoy interactive taster sessions and workshops. 🤝

Award winning REDS is moving !! Due to our growing number of members, we are delighted to be working in partnership with Welbeck Hall West Bridgford ❤️

🚨 EXCITING NEWS ALERT 🚨

Due to the continued expansion of the group, we have now outgrown our current venue and need to move on. A bittersweet moment but a sensible and necessary step to ensure we can provide the very best support we can ❤️

We are excited to announce that from our next session onwards, we will be based at the fabulous Welbeck Hall!

Same days: last Saturday of each month.
Same time: 10.30-12.30.

A bit of information about the new venue:

~ Based not far from Trent Bridge, there are bus connections right outside and the nearest tram stop is around a 25 minute walk.

~ Parking on site is available and free for guests. You must however enter your registration on their iPad to avoid any charges!

~ Tea, coffee & drinks will be available from the bar however there will be a charge for these (around £2-3 per hot drink). DON’T FEAR! We are allowed to bring our own cake and biscuits so the home baking will continue 😁

~ Chris will continue to provide walks and/or outside activities ☀️ and we will have a large indoor space to provide activities should the great British weather prevail 🌧️

Our next meeting is April 25th which also happens to be our 1st Birthday! 🎈🥳

So, double reason to join us next Saturday to celebrate, explore the new venue, and see what the group is about!

A song for Helen ❤️ Please share the love.

David stopped by our office today, excited to share a song he wrote for his wife, Helen.

Written and performed by David, the song is a heartfelt tribute in memory of Helen, who lived with dementia and regularly attended Trent Bridge Community Trust Forget Me Notts sessions, along with many other community events.

He wanted to share it with you all — it’s such a beautiful and touching tribute.
