Hot take: mouthwash is NOT cleaning your teeth. 🫧
I know. The tingle feels so thorough. So medicinal. So "I absolutely have my life together."
But here's the truth nobody tells you...
Mouthwash cannot remove plaque. 🦷
It literally cannot. Plaque clings to your teeth and laughs at liquid.
The only things that shift it are a toothbrush and floss. That's it. No fancy rinse is getting in there and doing the hard work for you.
And those gaps between your teeth? That's 40% of your tooth surfaces. FORTY. Your brush can't reach them. Your mouthwash definitely can't reach them. Only floss can.
Think of your routine like getting ready for a night out 🪩
Brushing = shower + getting dressed
Flossing = doing your hair
Mouthwash = the spritz of perfume on the way out the door
You wouldn't skip the shower and just spray perfume, right?
Mouthwash is the finishing touch. Not the main event. ✨

Let's have a little chat about your toothbrush technique. 🪥
Because I see the aftermath every single day, and I promise you, most people are doing it wrong.
Too hard. Too fast. The wrong angle. Completely missing the gumline and wondering why things don't feel quite right.
Here's the thing though, it's genuinely not your fault. Nobody ever really taught us properly. You learned from watching whoever was around, and they probably learned the same way.
So let me make this stupidly simple for you.
Two minutes. Twice a day. Bristles angled toward the gum at about 45 degrees. Gentle circles. That's it. That is the whole technique.
Set a timer once. Just once. You will be genuinely shocked how short your usual routine actually is.
Your gums will thank you. Your next check-up will thank you. And honestly, so will I. 😄

Your teeth are not scissors. They're not bottle openers. They're not sellotape dispensers. Put the parcel down and go find some actual scissors. Please.
And while we're at it, you don't need to brush like you're trying to get last night's bolognese off a non-stick pan. Your gums are not that tough. Gentle circles. That's it. Your enamel will thank you.
Oh and the 2am Google spiral where you've convinced yourself a bit of sensitivity means you've got scurvy? We need you to stop that immediately. You haven't got scurvy. You've got a phone and too much time on your hands. Just call us in the morning.

We know you've done it. Something feels a bit off in your mouth and instead of picking up the phone, you pick up your phone. And suddenly Google has you convinced you need a full head transplant.
Put the search engine down. Seriously.
Some things need actual eyes on them, not an algorithm. Your mouth is trying to talk to you and it's not going to send you a helpful link. It's just going to keep giving you hints until you listen.
The sooner you come in, the easier (and cheaper) it is to sort. That's not a sales pitch, that's just how teeth work. They don't get better with wishful thinking and a bit of Sensodyne.

While it may have looked calm on the surface, our team has been building something far more important behind the scenes.
A completely new content system. Not "post when there's time." Intentional. Structured. Strategic.
