I had the pleasure of treating Kevin from Canaan Trust today.
Kevin works tirelessly to help people in need and is currently walking 1,000,000 steps to raise funds for a new house to help women who for whatever reason have become homeless. All whilst recovering from open heart surgery.
You are an inspiration to us all!
They have a huge target to reach to get the house ready. If you can help by donating money, time, professional skills, clothes, furniture or even food that would be amazing!

After what feels like an eternity, The Treatment Room is ready for our first patients tomorrow!!

We have made some changes to the layout of the clinic and the entire place has had a deep clean.

Therapists are trained in how to use PPE correctly and safely.

There have been a number of changes to how appointments will take place (please see previous post) to ensure the safety of patients and therapists and reduce the risk of transmitting covid-19.

So many patients have been struggling with pain and injuries during lockdown and we are extermely happy to be able to treat you again!!

We are extremely happy to announce The Treatment Room will be re-opening on Monday 6th July.

The safety of our patients is paramount and as a number are in the vulnerable category, we will be carrying substantial measures to ensure we limit any risk towards covid-19.

There will be a number of changes to how appointments will now take place.

Firstly, if you or anyone you have been in contact with is feeling unwell please rearrange your appointment.

We would ask patients to arrive no more than 5 minutes before their appointment as they will have to wait outside.
Press the buzzer and will come to collect you.

Your temperature will be taken at the door and you will be asked to sanitise your hands. We will also ask patients to wear a mask and gloves (all of which will be supplied) whilst in the clinic.

We have built privacy screens and somewhere to leave your clothes as patients will be asked to change into a gown before entering the treatment room.

We will be wearing a mask, visor and apron and they will be changed after each patient.

There will be a break between each patient to thoroughly clean the treatment room and reception area. New furniture has been purchased to enabled us to keep it sanitised more easily.

We would politely ask patients to come alone if possible, unless you have a double appointment (i.e. two patients from the same household). We will also be checking contact information is up to date, just in case there is ever any need to track and trace.

In order to adhere to the new covid-19 safety guidelines and PPE, there will be a small charge to each patient of £3 per appointment.

We will be able to accept cash or card and can do contactless payments.

We are now taking appointments and look forward to seeing you again!

Hi guys,

Although the rules are suggesting some can go back to work. Unfortunately as there is no possible way to social distance whilst treating you, sadly The Treatment Room will remain closed for a while yet.

I'm getting quite a few people messaging and calling as they are having problems or missing their regular maintenance and need to book in. I have a list of people already wanting to book appointments, so if you need an appointment please comment below or send me a message to add you to the list.

If you need any advice on stretching or self treatment in the meantime please get in touch and I will help in any way I can.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Corona virus is sadly affecting everybody at the moment.
As a result my holiday has been cancelled, I will still be taking a few days off during this period but the clinic remains open with respect to the outbreak of Corona.

I politely ask all of my patients, if you any cold or flu like symptoms or have had any contact with people confirmed or suspected corona virus to rearrange their appointment. Some of our patients are vulnerable, so please let's all support eachother in this very difficult time.

Hey guys,

The clinic will be closed from Wednesday 18th march to monday 6th April. We still have appointments available, but they are going quickly. If you need an appointment in the next month, it will worth while booking it soon.
