“Hi Mandy I thought I would update you after the scan picture of the two baby's 🫶that we saw earlier in pregnancy. Unfortunately by our 12 week scan one had gone and was told it is known as vanishing twin syndrome, 😢the remaining baby continued to thrive and our beautiful baby boy 🐣 was born on the 28/07/25 after our reversal on the 09/10/24 we are so grateful to Dr Dobson 👨‍⚕️and team to expand our family so thank you”

“I just wanted to update Mr Dobson and yourself [Mandy] just to say that I am finally expecting my miracle baby, due in November 2025. I am happy for you to share my story on your page, because I wanted to share that there is hope if the procedure does not work for everyone.

The treatment and care I received at the park hospital was amazing and all the staff were very informative. Mr dobson himself has a very good bedside manner and his expertise is outstanding. Hence why I traveled from south wales to Nottingham to receive my treatment. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Following my surgery, we tried to conceive for 6 months but nothing was happening. I then proceeded with a tubal flush (HyCoSy) with Mr Dobson. This showed both tubes were open and I also had blood tests which proved I was ovulating. My partner also had a normal semen test. We then proceeded to try again for a further 6 months and again we failed to get pregnant.

We then had a further consultation with Mr Dobson & he recommended IVF at this point. In September 2024 we managed to get 3 embryos from our first round but sadly experienced a missed miscarriage at 7 weeks. In Jan 2025 | contacted Mr Dobson again who recommended us trying another transfer. He was happy for me to transfer my remaining embryos to his clinic and also spoke about a scheme he uses to make IVF more affordable.

Mr Dobson took the time to go through my options and we decided to try a frozen transfer. Despite it being at a different clinic due to distance, he still offered us advice along the way. Thankfully our 2nd transfer worked and I am currently 31 weeks pregnant with our miracle baby girl.

I can't thank the support Mr Dobson and his team enough for all he has done for us and wanted to to let other patients know there is hope and you do have options if like me you're unfortunate not to conceive naturally following reversal.”
