Remembering Our Mothers
Today we softly pause and think
Of mothers we once knew,
Of loving smiles and gentle hands,
Of all the things they’d do.
Their voices may be quiet now,
Their footsteps we don’t hear,
But in our hearts their love remains
Forever warm and near.
In every smile, in every hug,
In kindness that we show,
The love our mothers gave to us
Continues still to grow.
So on this special Mother’s Day
We hold them close in heart,
For those we love are never gone—
Their love will never part ❤️

This afternoon we celebrated Mother’s Day with a special afternoon tea alongside our wonderful residents and their families. It was a truly lovely afternoon. 💐☕
Firstly, we would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who kindly donated homemade cakes, scones and sausage rolls – they were all absolutely delicious and very much appreciated. 🍰🧁🥐
Secondly, thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the afternoon so special. Every day with a loved one is a blessing, and we are so grateful to be part of helping create these special memories. 💕✨

A big thank you also to everyone who bought raffle tickets and made cash donations – your continued support means so much to us and is always greatly appreciated. 🎟️💖

The raffle was drawn this afternoon, and congratulations to our lucky winners: Helen and Jane, Jacee, Paula and Stephen. 🎉👏
In total we raised an amazing £138, which will be added to our Residents’ Fund to support future activities and events. 💷✨

Today is National Employee Appreciation Day, and what better way to celebrate than recognising our lovely Paula, who has been awarded Employee of the Month! 🎉
Paula is a valued member of our domestic team, and you can often find her working hard in the laundry. Over the past couple of weeks, however, Paula has put down her feather duster, mop, and bucket and stepped into the kitchen to help cover staff sickness.
Her willingness to step in wherever needed and support the team has not gone unnoticed. Paula, thank you for your flexibility, positivity, and all the hard work you bring every day. We truly appreciate everything you do! 👏
Now it’s time for a well-earned break — enjoy your annual leave, Paula! You’ve certainly earned it. 🌟

Yesterday we had the lovely Michelle come to do some activities with our residents she did a fantastic job and lots of fun and enjoyment was had by everyone there was lots of laughter has the ball went flying with the parachute games we are very grateful for Michelle volunteering her if any of our lovely family member would like to volunteer to come in to do activities with other residents please see the activity team 💙 a big thank you to Michelle for her hard work yesterday
