Still point mindfulness

Still point mindfulness I teach mindfulness because it is simply the best way I have found of being calm and happy in myself

“My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive, and to do so with some passion, compassion, some humour and some style.” (Maya Angelou)

For me, these words capture powerfully and beautifully the heart of my life. When I work with people I offer respect and acceptance, my curiosity, creativity and skill as a therapist and mindfulness teacher. I teach mindfulness because it is simply the best way I have found of being calm and happy in myself. I want to share its power to reshape our experience of this one, wild life that we have. Mel Wraight is an accredited counsellor with 25 years experience who teaches mindfulness for self connection, self compassion and self care.

this beautiful and wise soul...

People have been made to feel like they aren't worthy of love and freedom. They seek what is familiar: pain, misery, alienation. So love is disarming, perceived as a threat. For hundreds of years they have sought to extinguish gender non-conforming people because we teach the world that freedom is possible. That love is possible.
