Hi and thank you for stopping by to read my 'about'

LYB - Wellbeing "Love Your Body" offering female fitness, nutrition, relaxing therapies, to inspire, motivate, encourage and support those wanting to change and work towards their dreams and goals with like minded ladies. LYB Wellbeing began a few years back, when I suppose I could say I hit an early mid life crisis, I hit 30, I realised I was unhappy in my 9-5(or 9!!!) corporate rat race job and along side this it seemed I was losing the ability to eat what I wanted without any consequences! It was time for some changes. I made the changes, I loved the changes, I pursued my dreams and LYB Wellbeing was born. A qualified; Bootcamp instructor, reflexologist and masseuse & sports masseuse, nutritionist and currently training for my diploma in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. These skills enable me to provide support in all the areas of female wellbeing.., but of course certificates aren't everything, so who am I!? Fascinated by the body, early signs were probably my addiction to health/body relayed programmes when I was child, I LOVE the body, and the mind, two hugely powerful tools which we are blessed with, that are neglected by many people most days of their lives, I can help change this

Easily excitable, or rather I'm passionate about things which are important to me, so my results, and in your case, your results! Easily bored, I have a short attention span, this is probably why I never have been nor do I ever want to entertain jogging, that's why my training sessions last 24 mins and you will never do the same session twice

Eager to learn, I don't know everything, nor do I want to, life would be pretty boring if we knew everything, but I do love to learn, and my knowledge I selflessly pass on with pleasure

Compassionate and a giver, if I have something that can help others (usually knowledge or time) I receive happiness from doing this, I will always answer questions whether you're a client of mine or not

I love food and I can easily gain weight too.., hey I'm human like the rest of you.., thought I should throw this one in :-)

Each day I want to be stronger than the day before, mentally and physically, to continue to develop a lean and toned physique.,, and I want to take my ladies with me on this journey

The 21 day Superfood Lovin" programme.for a healthier & happier version of you!

Where it came from and what is it?

Before Seb was born i knew it would be no easy feat eating well with a newborn, especially being a "single parent" Monday to Friday BUT i also knew the importance of eating well, for us both - i needed to eat well for my hormones and to get my "BODY BACK" but i also knew i needed to be sensible about it!

There are TEN superfoods that i committed to eating daily (during pregnancy and post pregnancy), i knew that if i ate these i would be ok, i would be boosting my milk supply whilst also filling myself nutritionally, keeping my hormones in check too, along with losing the pregnancy pounds!

Ladies, don't switch off because you're not trying to conceive, not pregnant or haven't recently had a baby - YOU HAVE HORMONES TOO!!!!!

This plan came out of my experience of pregnancy and when i sat and wrote my "why i've changed the name of my page" i had another light-bulb moment - that i had to share this with EVERY woman!

Its common sense that eating well has a multitude of positive effects, from reducing bloating, inch/weight loss, feeling more energised, feeling more hormonally balanced, more confident and generally happier BUT it doesn't have to be a minefield or a confusing playground - it does however need to fit in with our crazy tail-chasing daily life though, else if it's all too hard, too time consuming, we give up right!!?

Of course nutrition is a huge part but not the only part in achieving some of the above goals - yes i'm sorry to say exercise is really important - BUT guess what, you don't have to slog it out in the gym or pound the pavements 5 days a week for hours at a time!

Do you have 8 minutes each day? or even 8 minutes every other day - could you commit yourself to that, for your own wellbeing and health? I have faith that you could do this!

So this plan...,

It's a 21 day plan where you join a private group of other likeminded ladies, looking to become a healthier, happier and leaner version of their current self, online, in our private Facebook group - you will be armed with the tools you need from the list of superfood ingredients to stock up on, to recipes, to support, guidance, in order to implement the nutritional changes, believe me they are really easy to do, along with optional, but beneficial, short training sessions, suitable for all levels of fitness.

The aim of this plan, just like my previous ones, is to help change mindsets and habits for the LONG term.

By the end of the 21 days you really will feel like a new woman and you'll have the new habits to take forward with you!

This plan like my others will run each month and I only take 15 ladies per group, this way I'm able to support everyone!

Whilst I truly believe we should avoid artificial 'anything', fragrances, preservatives.., sometimes articles are a little misleading by not giving a full story or picture with all the facts.

Take linalool for example, this is naturally found in essential oils taken from plants and the likes. Such as lavender!! Yet here this article is saying it can cause depression.

To drink a litre of the stuff sure would maybe cause damage, but it is safe in tiny amounts found in things like skincare!

So i woke this morning, to a light bulb moment and i begged for Sebby to keep sleeping so i could start making steps to implement this light bulb moment.

I have never really liked the name of my business - Body Matrix back in its day sounded too masculine, LYB Wellbeing, seemed NO ONE clicked that LYB stood for Love Your Body, then Mei Wellbeing - i switched to this so it was in line with my skincare range Mei Organics - but again seemed no one really knew how to pronounce it and it continued to be an uncomfortable issue for me - the name of this business just wasn't sticking.

Then this morning something CLICKED

I, me, Katrina am all about superfoods, i use these in my products, i consume them daily, for my health and wellbeing!

Throughout us trying to conceive Sebby i felt them very important, throughout my pregnancy i continued to put my trust in them and since having Sebby i still have them.

Superfoods have been my best friend, i believe they solved my acne, i believe they gave me a wonderful pregnancy, and i believe they are the reason behind me getting (very very almost) my pre pregnancy body back in less than 20 weeks.

I promote superfoods for beauty, for our skin wellbeing, i promote superfoods for my ladies that are trying to conceive and those going through pregnancy.

Along with this light bulb moment of re-evaluating the business name, it has also prompted me to streamline what services and support i offer to my lovely ladies – this again has been a bug bare since coming off maternity leave WHAT services do I want to now offer to my ladies?

So i will continue to offer hormone and fertility Reflexology - this is in tangent to nutritional changes, primarily, yep you've guessed it those powerful hormone enriching superfoods.

And my 21 Day Body Define programme has also been replaced with the 21 Day Superfood Super Lovin' - the main focus very much as before, helping you to regain that healthier, leaner, cleaner, happier YOU! This programme is being written, and i hope to launch this in the next couple of months.
