Welcome to A. C. Allan Opticians. My name is Alex Allan and I am a qualified Dispensing Optician with over 40 years experience in optics. I have been here in Sherwood for 40 of those years, initially as Practice Manager and from 1986 as Owner. My daughter, Lucy, joined me a few years ago and is now also a Dispensing Optician, continuing the family connection and ensuring the high standards of care and service we pride ourselves on are continued.

We pride ourselves on the outstanding customer service we provide here, a fact which is reflected by our large loyal customer base of returning patients and families, who have been depending on us for all their eye care requirements over the years.

We have a highly professional team of visiting Optometrists and Contact Lens Opticians who are available by appointment, many of whom have worked with us for many years.
