We have a vacancy for a Medical Receptionist.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and approachable GP Medical Receptionist.
The applicant must be confident with computers and be able to work within a team.
Good customer care skills are essential and a warm and friendly demeanour.
Medical environment experience and SystmOne knowledge is desirable.

The number of hours is negotiable with weekday shifts between 7am and 8pm (an occasional Saturday is necessary)

Job summary:
To receive, assist and direct patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient and effective way.

To provide general assistance to the practice team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone.

To act as a focal point of communication between the GPs, Receptionists, Practice Management, Patients and local Chemists as well as other members of the Primary Health Care Team.
