Amazing news for an awesome Physio 😍👏🌟

We are delighted to announce that Specialist Physiotherapist, Fiona Lindop, has been awarded an MBE for her services to physiotherapy in His Majesty The King's New Year's Honours.

Fiona has impacted the lives of many patients and their families since joining the Trust in 1992, playing a pivotal role in not only establishing our Parkinson's service, but helping it twice become designated as a Centre of Excellence by the Parkinson's Foundation, as well as having a mobility assessment framework which is now frequently used by healthcare professionals across the country named after her.

Speaking of her pride at being awarded an MBE, Fiona said: "I love what I do and UHDB has given me a fantastic platform. I am really grateful for the career I have had and to have it recognised with an MBE is just the icing on the cake."
