This week at Swallow Grange, we had a special visit from some very small but very important guests — our guinea pigs.

Animal therapy can play a powerful role in supporting children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Spending time with animals helps create a calm and safe environment where pupils can relax, regulate their emotions, and build confidence.

Moments like these may seem small, but they can have a big impact on wellbeing, emotional regulation, and engagement in learning.
