*Who Is Tacie Barnett?
2023 Is Tracie Barnett's 29th year in Dentistry.
In 1994, Tracie started her career as a trainee dental nurse in Leeds, West Yorkshire.
Over the next 23 years, she grew experience in NHS and, private practices, and emergency dental clinics and offered her help as a locum nurse.
Almost 6 years ago, Tracie had a change in career and became Dr Martina Hodgson's original TCO, together they developed a world-class digital patient journey. Soon after, she gained an advanced diploma in Treatment Coordination, making her the first in Yorkshire to hold the qualification.
Over the last 2 years, Tracie has devoted lots of her time and passion to mentoring other TCOs and dental nurses, she holds a level 3 qualification in education and training.
More recently, Tracie has delivered courses educating dental nurses, new and experienced TCOs, in Itero scanning, and excelling in the perfect Invisalign patient journey, through The Dental Business Academy while still carrying out her TCO duties part of the week.
In addition, she is regularly asked to speak on the subject of digital dentistry and often speaks for Align.
Tracie has a monthly column for the FMC and has also been featured in many other articles.
