Stress and Anxiety when you have food restrictions
Hello,
I’m a qualified Hypnotherapist with many years’ experience. I specialise in helping people with Stress and Anxiety and have worked with many other issues as well.
I’m also a qualified Havening Practitioner, I was one of the first to qualify in the Uk.
Over recent years I’ve developed Histamine Intolerance, long story, (which I’m happy to share) and I’ve noticed there is a lot of advice out there regarding diet but very little information regarding the ‘stress factor’, which I believe is vitally important, in recovery or living well with HIT, or any other intolerance/allergy.
When foods/lifestyle are restricted regarding diet and socialising, stress and anxiety increase. People can become fearful of eating, continually reducing the variety of foods and still getting worse. My belief is that as their stress levels increase so do their intolerances. We all need to be mindful of stress levels whether we have intolerances, allergies or not.
I have lots of ‘tools’ to help people relax and reduce stress/anxiety levels. I use them all the time if I get any of the ‘bucket overload’ symptoms. I can teach people how to use these techniques so they can help themselves and not be reliant on others.
I have trained over the last 20 years with many of the worlds and Uk’s best Hypnosis and Havening trainers, as well as other techniques. I use a wide variety of techniques to help them to reduce stress and anxiety. I have been in private practice for 30 years, continually increasing my knowledge and qualifications.
