Athlete experience having competed in all Riding Club Championships from a young age, specialising in Dressage as a teenager competing for North West British Dressage Society (BYRDS). It was a neck injury at 15years old which caused a change in career ambitions due to poor assessments, misdiagnosis and a lack of understanding and awareness. Consequently, Kim knows how debilitating it can feel when waiting for diagnosis, waiting for treatment, and simply waiting for answers. Therefore, Kim aims for all clients to have a positive experience and ensures you leave the treatment with answers, understanding, awareness and confidence.
So what does this all mean for you? Kim is trained to an advanced level meaning not just advanced skills, but advanced understanding and advanced experience. Therefore, Kim is able to treat a plethora of issues from injuries, pain symptoms and medical conditions. If required, Kim has created an extensive network meaning she can ensure you get the best treatment for you ranging from internationally renowned Chiropractors to Cranio-Facial Physiotherapists. This is all backed up through the success of Paviors RFC whom Kim is Head Sports Therapist, being personally asked to work within the MDT at AIMAG 2017, and a consistent turnover of clients who see Kim for various issues and go on to achieve their goals smiling and looking for the next challenge.
Kim respects that each clients expects honesty, high quality and an in depth understanding and awareness both objectively and subjectively. These characteristics enable clients to leave feeling like it was money well spent and feel positive towards their aims and goals whether it be putting shoes and socks on without pain to competing in an ultra marathon.
Kim offers practical advice to help you increase your understanding and awareness which is vital to continue the work completed in the first session, and through this, Kim rarely sees people more than once. If you need to see Kim more than once, it’s likely due to chronic pain issues which have been present and/or increasing for many years, or unable to complete the post treatment advice due to a restricting lifestyle. Most clients return after the first treatment for maintenance sessions, also known as MOTs, to help prevent injury or deteriorating medical conditions, or to help continue their performance journeys. Taking into account elasticity and tensegrity, Kim considers the whole body, not just the shoulder for shoulder pain for example, meaning you get a thorough treatment helping that feeling of ‘money well spent’. Thus, why pay for 3 poor quality treatments which only help short term, when you can pay for 1 high quality treatment which helps long term? The answer is simple - use your money wisely and pay for better quality!
99% of clients are obtained via word of mouth- the most honest way.
If you have seen the same person about the same pain for more than a year without significant improvement, it is time you should consider why you are still seeing them!
