Move Well Nottingham

Move Well Nottingham Kim Williams, BTEC L5 Performance Soft Tissue Therapist (NLSSM 2013). Sports and Remedial.

Kim trained at North London School of Sports Massage (NLSSM) and is not only SMA registered but also Regional Director for East Anglia and East Midlands. Works at H3Performance near Sneinton Market and home visits within 5miles from Southwell. Also
- Lead Therapist to Paviors RFC (RFU Level 5 Midlands Premier noting potential that the RFU may restructure the leagues for 22-23 season)
- Sports Massage Therapist at AIMAG 2017 in Turkmenistan working within the MDT based in the polyclinic
- Second Therapist to Outlaws Rugby League Nottingham
- Pitch side first aid at BUCS (British Universities and Colleges Sport) (national)
- Lead Therapist to NLD RFC Men's Senior First Team in their county competitions 2019 (national)
- 2014 Tennis Aegon Cup Nottingham

- An understanding at a cellular level and a vast range of techniques to adapt each treatment for each individual.
- Kim also looks at postural deviations and biomechanics.
- Kim’s goal and ethos is to treat the cause not just the symptoms. Helping people improve their health, fitness and wellbeing so they can not only achieve their goals, but defeat them smiling and looking for the next challenge.
- Having competed and worked both independently and as part of a team, I found this has enabled me to adapt to the client and/or environment in my work as a Sports Massage Therapist. Riding at advanced level dressage has given me an extremely sensitive touch whilst my training in sports psychology when competing at national level has given me an understanding into the mental challenges. My education and work experience in law has developed my brain to consider many avenues, what they involve and their outcomes in a subjective and objective manner and thus, a treatment plan specific to that client can be developed. Both law and dressage have given me a sharp eye which has been beneficial in analytic assessments.
- Sports massage is not just for sporting individuals, it can also help with various medical conditions such as arthritis, post cancer surgery (both returning the scar tissue and surrounding area back to it's functional self again and increasing confidence), carpal tunnel syndrome, stress, back and neck pain, insomnia - the list is endless!

These are just some of the best experiences I've had, and people I've worked with so far on my 12 year journey as a I love my job ❤️

The rugby team pics never fail to make me smile too, it's like spot the Kim version of where's wally as I'm so small compared to them all 🧐

I'm sorry if you've recently been in touch for an appointment and I've not managed to get in touch. I already have an autoimmune condition but my health hasn't been great with low blood pressure and very bad insomnia to name just 2 symptoms. I've found a really good cardiologist and am in the process of getting to the bottom of things - compared to where I've been we are getting closer to answers at long last (I had to drop my rugby work with Paviors RFC due to my health at the end of the 2023-2024 season so it's been a long time coming).
So trust me I'm not ignoring you if I've not managed to reply, I'm just having to be the patient as well as a therapist at the moment.
I do love All on the Board , give then a follow for a daily dose of soul food ❤️

Do what you need to do to help with your healing; nobody really knows how bad you’ve been feeling.

🐣 Happy Easter 💐
Whilst some of you might be tucking into chocolate for breakfast, a family meal, and/or having a relaxed day, just think of these guys working hard at the ensuring everyone has the best experience possible 🤓🥰

With a weekend off rugby and the rarity of this guy being up in Notts, I sacked my rest day off for a few hours work within the MDT so we could have a decent catch up. It was a real treat being able to catch up with Dr Mary too, and meet new people including Jo, Sandy, and Sandesh, and work with teams from all over the world... thank you for having me on your team Dr Mary 🥰

Good luck to the teams today and tomorrow 🤓 and until next time Nick ❤️

Firstly, a huge congratulations to the , you gave us an awesome final, played to the whistle, and runners up is still a very respectable and honorable place to finish 🥈🙌🥳🥰 you did us proud so keep those chins up, and remember this just makes the future even more exciting

Another huge congratulations to for winning the golden glove, it is SO very much deserved, hold it with pride because of everything you do on and off the pitch is an inspirational message

The biggest tests for any athlete is when they get so close to the gold and win silver.
- The lesson, it's still a huge achievement, and finding tenacity and excitement to keep developing, as a team and individuals, is what the spirit of sport is all about. It's never the end, the story always goes on.

The other test is injury, going from being active and in a routine, to suddenly defeated by your own body.
- The lesson, injury means you can go back and rebuild even stronger, and in the process become wiser about your own body. Those weaknesses will become strengths.

Bring on the future 💪and well done Spain for winning, enjoy the moment and look after the trophy for us 😘🤓🏆🍾

⚠️ puppy alert ⚠️ meet 15 week old (as of tomorrow) cockapoo Coco 😍

We've been considering having another dog after losing our rescue borgi to cancer in Jan 2019. Long story short, it was very last minute via a friend of a friend, we've kept her name, and she is perfect ❤️

So I didn't make last week, I've been a bit off social media, and I've not been able to reply as quickly... this is why. It's also a nice reminder that life just happens. Sometimes plans don't always work out the way you envisaged, life is full of surprises, and the journey is beautiful nonetheless 🥰 although I could do with a few more hours sleep, but hey, that's all part of having a puppy 🥴
