Alex Szabo at Notts Osteopathy offers diagnosis and treatment for a wide range of medical conditions
Osteopathy is a system of diagnosis and treatment for a wide range of medical conditions. It works with the structure and function of the body, and is based on the principle that the well-being of an individual depends on the skeleton, muscles, ligaments and connective tissues functioning smoothly together.

We put our bodies through a lot every single day — often without even noticing.
Long hours, busy routines, stress, posture… it all builds up over time.
So if you’re starting to feel stiff, sore, or just not quite yourself, it might be your body asking for a bit of attention.
Osteopathy is about restoring balance, easing tension, and helping your body move the way it’s meant to — so everyday life feels easier and more comfortable again.
Because when you move well, you feel better… and that makes a difference to everything 💚

Monday again… but let’s keep it simple this week 👇
If you woke up this morning feeling a bit stiff, achy or not quite moving how you’d like — don’t ignore it.
Those little ni**les are often your body’s early warning signs. And the sooner you listen, the easier they are to resolve.
Osteopathy isn’t just about treating pain — it’s about helping your body move better, feel better, and stay that way.
So whether it’s from a busy weekend, long hours at a desk, or getting back into exercise… take this as your gentle Monday reset.
Move a little more.
Stretch a little often.
And if something doesn’t feel right — get it checked.
Here’s to starting the week feeling your best 💚

Happy Friday… and what a beautiful one it is 🌸✨
With the Spring Equinox here, we’re stepping into longer days, lighter evenings, and that fresh sense of renewal that this time of year brings.
It’s the perfect reminder that change doesn’t have to be big to be powerful — sometimes it starts with something simple:
🌿 Moving your body a little more
🌿 Getting outside and soaking up the daylight
🌿 Taking a moment to reset and recharge
If you’ve been feeling a bit stiff, tired, or out of balance after the winter months, now is a great time to refocus on your health and wellbeing.
Let’s help you move better, feel better, and make the most of the season ahead 💚

Tennis elbow or golfer’s elbow… do you know the difference? 🤔
They might sound similar, but they affect different parts of the elbow — and both can be incredibly frustrating to live with, especially when simple things like lifting, gripping or even pouring a kettle start to hurt.
The important thing to remember is this… you don’t have to just put up with it or wait for it to go away.
With the right treatment, we can:
✔️ Identify what’s really causing the pain
✔️ Ease discomfort and inflammation
✔️ Help you get back to moving normally again
If elbow pain is slowing you down, let’s get it sorted.

Not sure exactly what osteopathy is or how it might help you?
You’re not alone — it’s one of the most common questions people ask before their first appointment.
On the website you’ll find plenty of information about what osteopathy involves and the wide range of conditions it can help with — from back and neck pain to sports injuries and everyday aches that just won’t shift.
And if you’d rather talk it through, that’s absolutely fine too. I’m always happy to have a chat and help you understand whether osteopathic treatment could be right for you.
Feeling stiff, achy or not moving quite the way you’d like?
Sometimes the smallest ni**le can slowly start affecting everything — how you move, how you sleep, even how much you enjoy your day.
Osteopathy is all about helping your body move better, feel better and get back to doing the things you love. Whether it’s back pain, a sports injury, or just that persistent tightness that won’t shift, getting the right treatment can make a real difference.
Your body works hard for you every day — sometimes it just needs a little support in return.
Some people avoid ladders, black cats and broken mirrors today.
Personally, I think it’s a great excuse to do something positive instead — get moving, get outside, or take a moment to reset before the weekend.
Maybe today isn’t unlucky at all… maybe it’s just a good day to change your luck. ✨

Pain is often the body’s way of telling us something isn’t quite right — but the place you feel the pain isn’t always where the problem actually begins.
A key part of osteopathic treatment is not just easing the symptoms, but identifying and addressing the root cause. Sometimes that cause can be somewhere completely different in the body.
By understanding how everything works together, treatment focuses on correcting the underlying issue — helping your body move better, recover properly, and reducing the chance of the problem returning.
Because lasting relief starts with finding the real cause.

Have you picked up a sports injury recently? 🏃♂️
It can be tempting to ignore it or just push through the pain, especially if you’re keen to keep training. But small injuries often become bigger problems if they’re left untreated.
The good news is that with the right treatment and advice, recovery may be easier than you think.
Osteopathy focuses on understanding the root cause of the issue, helping your body recover properly so you can get back to moving freely and doing the activities you enjoy — without pain holding you back.
If you'd like, I can also quickly produce LinkedIn and Instagram versions to match your usual posting style.

Monday morning check-in 👋
By this point in the day many of us have already spent hours sitting at a desk, driving, lifting, or working our way through the morning’s to-do list.
It’s often around mid-morning that the body starts to whisper a few reminders…
That stiff neck.
Tight shoulders.
A lower back that’s already feeling a little grumbly.
Those small aches and ni**les are often your body’s way of asking for a bit of support.
Osteopathy focuses on improving movement, easing tension and helping your body function the way it’s meant to — so you can get on with your day feeling more comfortable.
If something doesn’t feel quite right, don’t ignore it.

Alex is a qualified osteopath, remedial massage therapist and personal trainer. His passion for health and wellbeing has led him to dedicate many years to studying osteopathy which has awarded him a Bachelor of Osteopathy Honours (First Class) degree; allowing him to add new techniques to his extensive experience to help others with musculoskeletal aches and pains.
“Health is so much more than correcting a mechanical problem, it’s important to understand the person, what’s going wrong for them and what they can do to avoid a repeat of the problem. My focus and passion is not only to provide the best quality tailored physical therapy but to provide information to empower and motivate them to take charge of their own health specific to their needs” Alex.
To an osteopath, for your body to work well, its structure must also work well. So osteopaths work to restore your body to a state of balance, where possible without the use of drugs or surgery. Osteopaths use touch, physical manipulation, stretching and massage to increase the mobility of joints, to relieve muscle tension, to enhance the blood and nerve supply to tissues, and to help your body’s own healing mechanisms. They may also provide advice on posture and exercise to aid recovery, promote health and prevent symptoms recurring.
