CPR for adults, children and babies is different, which is why they’re taught separately in first aid training.

I’ll be sharing a short infant CPR demonstration soon.

First aid has a structure — and it starts before CPR.

In training, we teach DRSAB to help people stay calm and focused in an emergency.

You don’t need to memorise everything.

You don’t have to remember every step perfectly.

In an emergency, what matters most is doing something — checking for a response, calling 999, and starting CPR if needed.

Confidence doesn’t come from memorising everything.
It comes from understanding the basics and being willing to act.

That’s what first aid training is really about.

This is a simple demonstration of child CPR (1 year to puberty).

Child CPR begins with 5 rescue breaths, followed by 30 chest compressions and 2 breaths.

Always check for a response and normal breathing, shout for help, and call 999 immediately in an emergency.

If you are not trained or don’t feel confident to help, follow the guidance of the emergency call handler.

Child, adult and baby CPR are different — which is why they’re taught separately in first aid training.

More short, confidence-building demos coming soon.

CPR looks different depending on who you’re helping.

Adult, child, and baby CPR all have different techniques and considerations — which is why they’re taught separately in first aid training.

I’ve already shared adult CPR demos, and I’ll be breaking down child and baby CPR in future posts — calmly, clearly, and step by step.

Confidence comes from understanding what to do — not from trying to remember everything at once.

If someone is unconscious but breathing, CPR is not needed — the recovery position helps keep their airway open while you wait for help.

This video is a simple demonstration for awareness and confidence-building.

Always check for a response and normal breathing, and shout for help before placing someone in the recovery position.

If you are not trained or don’t feel confident to help, call 999 immediately and follow the operator’s instructions.

This is another simple first aid skill everyone should know.

More short demos coming soon.

This is a simple demonstration of hands-only adult CPR.

Always check for a response and normal breathing, and shout for help before starting CPR.

If you’re not trained or don’t feel comfortable giving rescue breaths, hands-only CPR is still effective and far better than doing nothing at all.

More short, confidence-building first aid demos coming soon.

This video is for awareness and confidence-building only.

If you are not trained or don’t feel confident to perform CPR, call 999 immediately and follow the operator’s instructions.

Staying with the casualty and getting help is always the right thing to do.

This is a simple demonstration of adult CPR, using a 30:2 ratio.

Adult CPR is different from CPR for children and infants — and I’ll be covering those separately in future posts.

You don’t need to be perfect to help.
You just need to start.

More short, confidence-building first aid demos coming soon.

This video is for awareness and confidence-building only.

If you are not trained or don’t feel confident to perform CPR, call 999 immediately and follow the operator’s instructions.

Staying with the casualty and getting help is always the right thing to do.
