!!FAQ!!
❓ Does my car already have this?
Short answer:
👉 Some cars have a basic version — many don’t, and many no longer work as intended.
⸻
🚗 Factory systems (eCall) — what they actually do
Many cars (mainly 2018–2026 models) include eCall, which:
• Automatically contacts emergency services only
• Relies on the car’s built-in mobile connection, and the car having power after a serious crash!
• Does not notify family or contacts you choose
⚠️ The important part most drivers don’t know
• A large number of cars built before 2024 rely on 3G connectivity
• In the UK, the 3G network was shut down by the end of 2025
• This means:
• Some factory systems may now be limited, unreliable, or inactive
• Drivers are not warned
• There’s often no dashboard alert
🔔 How Notify Safety is different
Notify Safety is:
• ✅ Independent of your car
• ✅ Uses modern connectivity
• ✅ Works in any vehicle
• ✅ Alerts people you choose (family, partners, parents)
• ✅ Designed to work even where factory systems fall short
It doesn’t replace emergency services —
it makes sure the people who care about you know immediately.
