🌟 Pharmacy First – Helping You Get Faster Care 🌟

From now on, some minor illnesses can be treated directly by your local community pharmacy. This means you can get expert advice and treatment without needing to see a GP.

Our reception team may signpost you to a pharmacy if your symptoms meet the national criteria. This isn’t us “fobbing you off” — it’s about getting you the right care, more quickly, from trained clinicians who can assess and provide treatment on the same day.

Please bare in mind if you absolutely must have a face to face appointment the car park is currently covered in snow and cars have been stuck turning in from the main road.

If possible please keep safe and change appointments to telephone calls. Please dont put yourselves at risk if you dont need to. We can still support you using alternative ways.

If you are unsure of what to do regarding your appointment, please feel free to call, message or email in and our friendly staff will happily talk you through and liaise with clinicians where needed

Due to the current dangerous weather conditions, we are asking all patients to take extra care over the coming days. Your safety is our priority.

• Please only book face‑to‑face appointments if absolutely necessary.

• Telephone and online consultations are available and should be used wherever possible.

• Travel is likely to be disrupted, which may affect appointment times throughout the day.

• Please bear with us if you experience delays — we will do everything we can to keep the day running smoothly and ensure you are seen safely.

• Avoid travelling unless essential for your health or wellbeing.

• If you do need to go out, take precautions, allow extra time, and check conditions before leaving.

• Please remain respectful to our staff — they have made the effort to travel in these challenging conditions to continue caring for you and the community.

• Stay warm, stay safe, and look out for vulnerable people.
