An excellent day training at Newark Rugby Union Football Club. A great club with the ambition to have enough First Aiders to provide two at pitch side for every game. Well done Newark RUFC. πŸ‘πŸ‘

Our delivery of donated colostomy bags that we have just shipped over to Zimbabwe πŸ‡ΏπŸ‡Ό

We send a shipment approximately every three months. These supplies go to a local hospice (shout out to Island Hospice & Healthcare!) who distribute the bags to patients in need.

In the UK, colostomy bags are provided by the NHS - something many of us may take for granted. But in countries like Zimbabwe, these essential supplies are often scarce, very expensive, and unaffordable for most people. Which is heartbreaking πŸ’”

Without access to colostomy bags, many are left housebound and unable to live their lives with comfort or dignity. That’s why every donation and shipment we send makes such a huge difference.

Thank you to everyone who helps make this possible. If you'd like to know more about Island Hospice, please give them a follow πŸ™

When I am not training First Aid, I train Carers for live-in care. Always Take Care is our family business started by my late mother-in-law Heather. A wonderful lady with a heart for those in need. She is very much missed. πŸ₯°

Have you heard the story behind 'Always Take Care'?

ATC is here because of Bridget's mum, Heather Gebbie. Heather sadly passed away in March 2025, and we miss her every day. But her indomitable spirit continues to guide all of us here at ATC.

Heather laid the foundations for our work, and we follow in her footsteps, doing our best to make a difference by delivering care with dignity, respect, and unwavering compassion. We honour her legacy – not just in the name, but in the way we care.

We highly recommend Darren Hayward for all your first aid training needs in Rutland. There have been times recently when our team members have had to put into practice the knowledge they gained from Darren’s training to help our guests and I am so pleased they knew what action to take πŸ™ŒπŸ™ŒπŸ™Œ
