As the Covid restrictions have changed throughout most of the UK today, we wanted to let you know how it will impact visiting at Beechcroft.
Attached is the government guidance on care home visiting and we wanted you let you know that for the time-being, we are asking visitors to do as they’ve done for the last few weeks, which is:
* Phone ahead of your visit so that we know you’re coming
* Produce a negative lateral flow test on the day you come, at home or on arrival at the home.
* We’re also asking that visitors, like staff, continue to wear a mask at all times whilst in the building.
* If you are feeling unwell with Covid like symptoms, please do not come to the Home.
We appreciate that this is no longer the law, but we know that these mitigations help protect our residents.
We will still be using out secure visiting booth if you feel you would rather not come inside the building or in the event of an outbreak,
If we were to have an outbreak of Covid In the home, (more than 3 staff or residents testing positive at any one time), essential care givers are still allowed to visit the home freely as before.
We will keep these measures under regular review and update you accordingly.
We thank you for your continued support and understanding and want to reassure you that keeping our residents physically and emotionally safe continues to be our number one priority.
