Arts & Crafts Sale Raises £2,000 to Support People with Disabilities

Vision Homes is delighted to announce that a recent Arts and Crafts Sale has raised an impressive £2,000 to support individuals with disabilities in attending local events and activities.

The sale brought together local artists, crafters, and community members in a vibrant celebration of creativity and generosity. From handmade jewellery and home décor to original artwork and seasonal crafts, the event showcased incredible local talent while raising vital funds.

All proceeds from the event will go directly to supporting people with disabilities—many of whom are supported by Vision Homes—in accessing community events, social activities, and inclusive experiences that enhance wellbeing and connection.

“We are so grateful to everyone who donated their time, skills, and purchases to make this event a success,” said Mel Townsend, Head of Supported Living at Vision Homes. “This money will make a meaningful difference in helping those we support take part in local events and feel more connected to their community.”

Vision Homes is a registered charity dedicated to supporting people with disabilities and complex needs to live fulfilling, independent lives. The funds raised will help cover transport, tickets, and personal support for inclusive access to community life.’
