World Kindness Day is on Thursday, November 13, 2025 — but it started early here at Visiting Angels Manchester East!

Our wonderful Angel, Natasha, designed and created these beautiful beaded coasters for Badar, Jodie, and me. Her creativity and thoughtfulness truly shine through in every detail.

Our Angels have endless talents, and we are so proud and grateful for them all. Natasha isn’t just talented, she’s kind, caring, and beautiful inside and out. It’s an honour to have one of my closest friends’ daughters as part of our amazing team of Angels.

I’m absolutely delighted to share that I’ve been named a finalist in the Women Achieving Greatness in Social Care (WAGS) Awards — in THE COMMUNICATIONS GURU category!

This recognition means so much to me. Communication is at the heart of everything I do — building understanding, inspiring change, and giving a voice to those who deserve to be heard within social care.

A huge thank you to the WAGS Awards for this honour, and to everyone who has supported and believed in me along the way especially my amazing husband.

Happy Birthday Mr Russell.

I was blessed to reconnect with my English teacher after many, many years. I often wondered whether he was still alive and how he was keeping.

We finally met again, and to cut a long story short, I had the joy of buying him a birthday present this year he’s now one of my service users.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t give it to him in person as we were attending a loved one’s funeral that day. But I believe he was truly happy knowing that I remembered his birthday with a gift he had wished for.

Bev and Mr. Russell are in the photo, proudly showing off the present.

Thank you Jodie and Bev for always supporting me especially at such a difficult time for Badar and I.

Halloween may be over, but the spirit in the office is still hauntingly high!

A big thank you to our Angels for keeping things festive — we can already hear the bells on Santa’s sleigh in the distance.

Time to swap the cobwebs for tinsel!

A Touch of Halloween Magic from Our Angels

Something spooktacular happened at Visiting Angels Manchester East this week!

Our amazing team members, Jodi and Bev, went out to deliver some Halloween Box Treats to our clients — all lovingly handmade by Jodi herself. From spooky sweets to thoughtful touches, these treats brought smiles (and maybe a few happy chills!) to everyone’s day.

We’re so proud to have such dedicated and creative care angels who always go above and beyond to make our clients feel valued and special. This Halloween, they truly added a sprinkle of seasonal magic!

We feel boo-lessed to have Jodi and Bev spreading kindness, care, and community spirit wherever they go.

Thank you to all our Angels in the photos to you are all amazing.

One of the biggest challenges when welcoming a new client is helping them regain their weight and strength, as this often impacts every other aspect of their health and wellbeing. 💫

Our wonderful Angel Tash has been preparing homemade meals for our client Michael, ensuring he’s receiving the nourishment he needs to thrive.

We’re delighted to share that Michael has since gained weight and is looking more like the man I remember from my younger years. Michael holds a special place in my heart, as he was my English teacher when I was a young girl — and it’s an honour, alongside Tash, to now be able to give back to him.

A huge thank you to Tash for her care, dedication, and the genuine love she brings to her work every single day.

Today, we’re surprising our Angel, Sam, with something truly special. 💫

Sam, your kindness, dedication, and heart touch everyone you meet — clients, families, and our whole team alike. You go above and beyond every single day, bringing light, comfort, and joy wherever you are. ✨

To show just how much you mean to us all, we’ve gathered messages from the families and team members whose lives you’ve brightened. Each message is a little piece of the love and gratitude we all feel for you. 💌

You are our Angel of the Year, Sam — not just for what you do, but for who you are.
