Lower body recovery session with 🏃👟
Preparing for a huge challenge in Costa Rica, running over 200km in 7 days.
Matt’s training volume has significantly increased over the past few months.
To keep him healthy, consistent, and performing at his best, recovery is a non-negotiable. We prioritise monthly lower-body sports therapy sessions, with a strong focus on the hip flexors, quads, and posterior chain.
This approach is highly beneficial for long-distance runners, helping reduce excessive tension in areas that take on greater load due to individual biomechanics and gait patterns.

• Pain-gait theory application to decrease perceived discomfort
• Deep trigger point release through full ranges of motion
