JOIN Sholver Community Centre FOR A FREE DIGITAL TRAINING.

We’re proud to share that Oldham Council’s Get Oldham Working service has secured an incredible £266,084 from the Digital Inclusion Innovation Fund to launch and deliver a brand-new digital inclusion programme - GOW Digital! 💻

This significant investment will help improve essential digital skills and increase access to technology for residents right across Oldham.

At a time when digital access is more important than ever for employment, health, education and public services, this funding will make a real and lasting difference in tackling digital exclusion in our communities.

GOW Digital is a major step forward in our mission to make Oldham one of the most digitally inclusive towns in the UK, ensuring no one is left behind in an increasingly connected world.

AMAZING OPENING BY OUR LOVELY CALM AHEAD

Calm Ahead CIC is excited to introduce a brand‑new group created for neurodivergent individuals, families, and anyone navigating life with additional needs.

Built on lived experience, genuine empathy, and our commitment to making Oldham a more inclusive place, this group offers a space where you can feel heard, supported, and empowered.

Living with neurodiversity, whether Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Tourette’s, sensory differences, or other additional needs, often means moving through the world with a beautifully neurospicy brain: full of unique strengths, perspectives, and ways of thinking, alongside challenges that can feel overwhelming.

Many families and individuals tell us they often feel isolated, unsure where to turn, or exhausted from having to explain themselves. This group exists to change that.

We want you to leave your masks at the door, but don't forget your ear defenders!

This session is completely free, and all materials are provided — just bring yourself, your curiosity, and a willingness to play with colour.
