📅 13th April – 22nd May 2026
Our Summer Term 1 timetable is filled with inclusive, engaging sessions designed to help children play, explore, learn, and thrive. This term includes:

🎨 Junior Twilight – arts, crafts, sensory play & games
🎬 S.E.N.D Club – movies, Lego, board games & creative fun
🔬 S.T.E.M Club – hands‑on science, technology, engineering & maths
🎶 Musical Beginnings – early years interactive music sessions
🚴 Ability Wheelz Cycle Centre – adapted cycling for all ages and abilities
⚽ Saturday Multisport – inclusive team games & movement activities

Perfect for children who love being creative, active, curious, or simply connecting with others.

🌷 May Half‑Term Holiday Programme
📅 23rd May – 31st May 2026
This May Half‑Term, we’re offering a variety of activities to keep children engaged, active and having fun:
🏰 Holiday Club – interactive & creative sessions
⚽ Multisport – sports, team games & inclusive activities
🚴 Ability Wheelz – universal cycle hire at Alexandra Park (no booking required)

There’s something for every child to enjoy during the school break.

✨ January got us off to a fantastic start!

We kicked off the new year with lively Multisport sessions, plenty of creative arts and crafts, and some absolutely amazing dance moves from our children and young people. There were smiles all round as everyone got stuck in, tried new things, and had fun together.

We’re so glad to be back and hope all our families are feeling refreshed and ready for a brilliant year ahead.

🎉 There are still spaces available on some of our current live programmes, so if you’d like to join us this term, we’d love to welcome you along.

POINT and our partners are proud to offer activities and social opportunities for children and young people with SEND in Oldham to learn, grow, and connect.

We believe every young person should be able to be themselves, feel a sense of belonging, and have the support to explore their passions, build friendships, and reach their full potential.

We’re excited to continue this work and to keep making a positive difference for the children, young people, and families we support in Oldham.

🌟 Supporting Oldham families 🌟

Oldham Council is proud to announce a two-year extension of our contract with POINT, a charity supporting families of children with additional needs.

The renewed contract will run from 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2028, with funding of £200,000 per year.

The extension will see POINT continue its delivery of Short Breaks Play and Leisure (SBPL) services for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), and their families.

“By extending our contract with POINT, we’re ensuring that this much-valued service can continue supporting local children, young people, and their families to thrive.” — Cllr Mohon Ali, Cabinet Member for Education and Skills.

Their programme of activities help young people build independence, develop confidence, and enjoy meaningful experiences with peers — while families benefit from essential respite.
