I just wanted to come on and express my love and gratitude to the community of Failsworth. ๐
Today was truly overwhelming to see so many people gather together in Failsworth to honour and remember those who gave their lives for our freedom was both humbling and deeply moving. The service was beautifully poignant, and it was lovely to see so many familiar faces coming together to pay their respects.
Itโs always heart-warming to witness the community of Failsworth unite in such a powerful way, people of all ages standing side by side, showing that the sacrifices made will never be forgotten.

We hope everyone appreciated the ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐น๐ฒ๐ฎ๐๐ฒ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐ญ๐ญ ๐ฑ๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐, a small but meaningful addition to this yearโs service to symbolise peace and remembrance. It was a privilege to contribute in this way. A huge thank you to Paul Wadsworth's brave family for stepping up to release the doves in what must have been an extremely emotional day for them.
Next year we will look to further improve our input to make the occasion even more special for all who attend.
A huge well done to Aysha for so thoughtfully leading the service, and our thanks to Father Paul for his touching reading.
Weโd also like to thank Tom for sharing his wonderful voice, your singing added such warmth and emotion to the morning. And finally, a sincere thank you to all involved in today.
Lest we forget. โค๏ธ
